Manchester United are reportedly considering a move to appoint Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner, and GIVEMESPORT correspondent Ben Jacobs has claimed that he would be keen on joining the Red Devils if an approach was made.

United are now in the market for a new manager after the club confirmed on Monday morning that Amorim had been relieved of his duties. Darren Fletcher has been placed in interim charge of the Old Trafford outfit, and it’s currently unclear how long he’s going to be in the dugout.

Glasner is one manager who is linked with a host of different jobs, and it’s no surprise considering the job he’s done during his time at Selhurst Park. The Palace boss lifted two trophies last season, the FA Cup and Community Shield, delivering European football to the Eagles ahead of the 2025/2026 campaign.

Glasner Open to Man Utd Move

GIVEMESPORT correspondent Jacobs has confirmed that Glasner would be open to joining Manchester United if the Red Devils make an approach for him to replace Amorim at Old Trafford. Glasner is out of contract at Crystal Palace in the summer, and considering he’s yet to commit to a new deal at Selhurst Park, his future is in doubt.

Reports elsewhere have claimed that Glasner is one of United’s top targets for the role,, and with Amorim now out of the door, the Manchester club are in the hunt for a new head coach. Palace certainly won’t want to lose their manager, described as ‘world-class’ by Sky Sports, after everything he has done for them, but with his deal expiring in the summer, they could be powerless.
