2027: We want Nigeria that works for everyone – OK Movement
Supporters of former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and that of New Nigerian Peoples Party, NNPP, Rabi’u Kwankwaso, under the aegis of the OK Movement, said they want a Nigeria that works for citizens regardless of political, tribal or religious differences.
The National Publicity Secretary of the Movement, Justin Ijeh, made this known on Thursday in an interview on Arise Television’s ‘Prime Time’.
Ijeh also disclosed that Obi is not running for power for its own sake but as a means to an end, stressing that it is the same ideology that fused Obi and Kwankwaso.
“We want a Nigeria that works for everyone, not just some. A Nigeria that respects the dignity of Nigerians and of institutions that perform their roles without political interference.
“We want a Nigeria that respects the dignity of the Nigerian person. We want a Nigeria that institutions are allowed to perform their roles without political interference, where we can draw a very distinct line between politics, politicking and governance.
“That is not the country we have today. Nobody knows where the line between politicking ends and where governance begins. So it’s one long continuum of politics. We reject that. We reject violent elections. We reject violence in the political process.
“We believe that people can disagree and not be disagreeable. We believe in a Nigeria where safety and security of all citizens is guaranteed.
“Obi has said he’s running not for power itself but as a means to an end. This ideology fuses Obi and Kwankwaso,” he said.

Zoning: North wants Presidency in 2031, won’t vote Atiku in 2027 – Ex-ACF scribe, Sani
Former Secretary General of the Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF, Anthony Sani, on Friday hinted that the North will not vote for the African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in 2027.
Sani explained that the North believes in zoning and wants power back in 2031, hence would not vote Atiku in 2027.
Speaking with DAILY POST, the ACF scribe insisted that the South would like to finish its eight years term in alignment with the spirit of zoning.
According to Sani, the North would be accused of stifling the zoning arrangement if they vote for Atiku in 2027.
He said: “I have told you that the South would like to finish their eight years in spirit of zoning. As a result southerners would not vote for former VP Atiku.
“And because the North respects zoning and hopes to produce the President in 2031, northerners would not vote Atiku lest they be accused of stifling zoning.”
