Cast, Plot and Streaming Release Date
Nearly 20 years after The Devil Wears Prada became one of fashion’s most beloved films, Miranda Priestly and the Runway team are back. The Devil Wears Prada 2 reunites the original cast for a fresh chapter that explores how the fashion and media industries have changed in the digital age.
Directed by David Frankel and written by Aline Brosh McKenna, the sequel brings back Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci, while introducing several new faces to the franchise.
The story picks up years after Andy Sachs walked away from Runway magazine, choosing a different path over a career under Miranda Priestly. This time, however, circumstances lead her back into the fashion world.
According to Variety, Miranda is now facing the decline of traditional print publishing in 2026 and must turn to Emily Charlton—who has become a powerful executive in luxury advertising—for financial support. Andy also returns to Runway at a new stage in both her personal and professional life, setting the stage for another complex relationship with her former boss.
Anne Hathaway revealed that the sequel offers much more than a nostalgic reunion.
Speaking during an interview with TODAY, the actress praised writer Aline Brosh McKenna for giving the characters a meaningful new direction.
“Aline McKenna cracked it, and she found a reason why we should make it beyond just nostalgia, beyond just giving people what they want. She found something new and more to say with these characters,” Hathaway said.
One of the film’s biggest themes is the transformation of journalism and fashion media. The glamorous magazine industry that once defined Runway has changed dramatically, and the sequel reflects those real-world challenges.
Stanley Tucci explained that journalism, magazines, artificial intelligence, and technology have reshaped the industry, making the story particularly relevant today.
Meryl Streep also shared that the characters are navigating an uncertain world while trying to stay true to themselves.
“Everybody in their lives has had to surf the new reality and figure out how to survive, how to keep their scruples intact, how to keep their conscience awake and alive,” she said.
Alongside the returning stars, The Devil Wears Prada 2 welcomes Kenneth Branagh, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, and Simone Ashley, bringing new rivalries and fresh dynamics to Miranda Priestly’s world.

Is The Devil Wears Prada 1 Available on Netflix?
The Devil Wears Prada (2006) is not available on Netflix in many regions, including the US. Instead, it is currently streaming on Disney+ in countries where Disney has the streaming rights.
If you’re in Nigeria, Netflix’s catalog changes frequently, so availability can vary. As of now, it is generally not available on Netflix Nigeria and is more commonly found on Disney+.

Michelle Obama Outfits at the Obama Presidential Center Opening: Every Look She Wore
Michelle Obama delivered a series of memorable fashion moments as she joined former President Barack Obama to celebrate the opening of the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago. Throughout the week-long festivities, the former First Lady showcased elegant looks from some of fashion’s biggest names, with longtime stylist Meredith Koop curating a wardrobe that blended timeless sophistication with meaningful storytelling.
The Obama Presidential Center officially opened on Juneteenth as a place to celebrate President Obama’s legacy while serving the local community. Located on Chicago’s South Side, the campus includes a museum, public library, athletic center, and outdoor spaces designed to inspire future generations.
Reflecting on the significance of the milestone, Michelle Obama shared that the center holds deep personal meaning for her family.
“It means so much to Barack and me to open up the Obama Presidential Center on the South Side of Chicago,” she said. “This is where I grew up, where Barack got his start, and where we raised our girls. So having a place where kids from our community can see themselves, connect with each other, and channel their hope—there’s nothing more powerful than that.”
She added, “The notion that kids like me will have a space full of history and hope and art and leadership and activity right in their backyard, there’s nothing more full circle than that.“
Here are Michelle Obama’s standout looks from the opening celebrations.

A heartfelt tribute in Acne Studios
For the stakeholders’ event on June 16, Michelle wore a custom Acne Studios skirt featuring a portrait of her late mother, Marian Robinson. The sentimental design became one of the week’s most talked-about fashion moments.
The tribute moved Barack Obama, who later reflected on Marian Robinson’s impact in an Instagram post, praising her love, wisdom, and dedication to family.
Elegant in black Celine
On June 17, while meeting with former administration and campaign staff ahead of the official opening, Michelle opted for understated elegance in a black Celine dress. The off-the-shoulder design featured a flattering knee-length silhouette, proving that simplicity can make a lasting statement.

Sculptural style in Fforme
Michelle embraced modern minimalism on June 18 in a striking look from Fforme’s Pre-Fall 2026 collection. She paired a sculptural black peplum top with a flowing white silk skirt, styling the outfit with a sleek low bun and statement drop earrings.
Custom Thom Browne for the grand opening
For the official opening celebration, Michelle chose a custom Thom Browne ensemble that blended classic tailoring with contemporary details. The look featured a striped blazer with frayed edges, a coordinating pencil skirt, a structured white bustier top, and matching white pumps. She completed the outfit with two low buns, creating one of her most memorable appearances of the week.

Casual sophistication in Ossou
As the Obama Presidential Center welcomed the public on June 19, Michelle embraced effortless luxury in an all-brown ensemble from Ossou. The look paired a spaghetti-strap top with a fold-over neckline and waist tie alongside wide-leg jeans, offering an elevated take on a classic casual outfit.
Throughout the celebrations, Michelle once again demonstrated why she remains one of the world’s most admired style icons. From sentimental custom designs to refined luxury fashion, each outfit reflected both her personal story and her signature sense of elegance.

Omowunmi Dada Shows How Thoughtful Styling Can Transform a Monochrome Look
If you’ve been looking for proof that a monochrome outfit can still feel fresh, memorable, and fashion-forward, let Omowunmi Dada’s latest look be your inspiration. Dressed in a rich navy blue outfit, Omowunmi shows how strong styling can transform a simple color palette into a standout fashion moment. Rather than relying on multiple colors or heavy embellishments, the outfit draws attention through its thoughtful details and balanced proportions.
The one-shoulder dress creates a clean, elegant shape, while the dramatic fabric accents at the shoulder and hips add character and movement. These details give the outfit a sculpted feel, making it visually interesting from every angle without looking overdone.
One styling lesson worth taking from this look is the power of coordinated accessories. The wide-brim hat instantly elevates the outfit, adding sophistication and presence while maintaining the refined mood of the look. Paired with a sleek handbag and minimal jewelry, every element works together instead of competing for attention.
Another reason this outfit stands out is its balance. The bold hat and statement dress details are matched by a streamlined silhouette, ensuring the overall look remains polished and elegant. It is a reminder that fashion does not always need excess to make an impact. Sometimes, carefully chosen details are enough.
For anyone building an occasionwear mood board, Omowunmi Dada’s look is a masterclass in modern elegance. It shows how a single color, thoughtful styling, and confidence can come together to create a look that feels timeless, sophisticated, and effortlessly memorable.

Creativity in fashion is often about seeing possibilities where others see limits, and this Priscilla Mkambala jersey-inspired masterpiece does exactly that. What could have stayed a simple sports reference has been transformed into a striking high-fashion moment that blends athletic culture with creative design.
The dress immediately commands attention with its strong, sculpted shape. The fitted waist detail creates a dramatic outline that feels bold, striking, and completely unexpected. Instead of treating jersey fabric as a simple design idea, the outfit reshapes it into something elegant and runway-ready.
The patchwork of colors, numbers, and team-inspired details adds another layer of visual interest. Every panel feels intentional, turning familiar sportswear elements into a fashion statement that celebrates creativity, skill, and innovation. The mix of colors keeps the eye moving, while the fitted mermaid-style skirt brings balance and a refined finish to the overall look.
What makes this outfit especially impressive is how it challenges the idea of what jersey fashion can be. It proves that sports-inspired pieces can be glamorous, artistic, and red-carpet ready when approached with imagination and strong design thinking.
This is the kind of look that reminds us fashion is not just about clothing. It is about storytelling, originality, and the courage to create something people have never seen before. And on that front, Priscilla Mkambala delivers this moment beautifully.
