Aston Villa Offered Chance to Sign ‘Fantastic’ Chelsea Star
Aston Villa are suddenly in the midst of one of the biggest squad rebuilds in recent memory amid plenty of incomings and outgoings.
There hadn’t been much activity before this past week, when Youri Tielemans joined Manchester United out of the blue. The club triggered a £35 million release clause in the Belgian’s contract.
Villa reacted quickly and paid a club record £52 million for Swiss midfielder Johan Manzambi. This was followed by a deal for Joao Gomes, who arrived from Wolverhampton Wanderers for £38m.
Chelsea then hijacked Arsenal’s move for Morgan Rogers and paid a British transfer record £117m for the English attacker. The twists keep on coming for the Villans as they have been offered the chance to sign a former target.
Aston Villa Offered Liam Delap
Villa have been in the market for a new striker and Chelsea have reportedly offered them Liam Delap. A report from Football Insider claims that the Blues’ new boss Xabi Alonso deems the English frontman surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.
Delap, dubbed “fantastic”, had been on Emery’s radar before heading to west London from Ipswich Town for £30m last summer. After impressing in his first Premier League season with the Tractor Boys, many expected him to shine.
That hasn’t been the case as Delap has flopped, enduring disastrous form since making the move. He managed just one goal in 28 league games.
Villa have seemingly been put off by the 23-year-old’s struggles as they are reportedly “not interested” in signing him this summer. Emery prefers to swoop for a more dynamic and pacey forward rather than the Englishman.
That could well be Nicolas Jackson, who spent last season on loan at Bayern Munich after falling out of favour at Chelsea. GIVEMESPORT sources understand that the Villans have made an enquiry about signing the Senegalese striker who played under Emery at Villarreal.

Jackson is Perfect For Villa
Villa are undoubtedly making the right decision not to take up Chelsea’s offer to sign Delap. His poor past season is hard to ignore, and he doesn’t feel like an Emery-type striker.
Jackson, on the other hand, would be an excellent addition to the Villans’ squad and could be a long-term solution. At 25, he is at an ideal age to come in and lead the line for Emery for years to come.
A potential deal will probably be more expensive than one for Delap, but it would be worth it. He performed well for the Blues after making the move from Villarreal despite heavy scrutiny, and Emery knows him well.

Arsenal Learn Whether £93.5M Rogers Alternative is Open to Joining
Arsenal were dealt a massive setback after Chelsea hijacked their move for Aston Villa attacker Morgan Rogers.
The English attacking ace had been the Gunners’ top target this summer and there was belief that he’d arrive at the Emirates. As Mikel Arteta’s transfer chiefs prepared to step up their interest, their London rivals stole in and agreed on a British transfer record £117 million fee.
Rogers is now headed to Stamford Bridge, and Arteta has headed back to the drawing board to find an alternative. There have been several names linked with the Premier League champions, including in-demand Yan Diomande.
Arsenal Learn Diomande Stance
Fabrizio Romano confirmed just days ago that Arsenal had moved to hijack Paris Saint-Germain’s deal to sign Diomande. The Ivorian had been Liverpool’s top candidate to replace Mohammed Salah, but he made it clear he preferred a move to PSG.
The Gunners’ attempt to convince him to snub the Parisians and join Arteta’s side has reportedly failed. A report from TEAMtalk claims that his entourage have informed other suitors that he is committed to joining Luis Enrique’s European champions.
Liverpool and Manchester City have also made fresh approaches for the 19-year-old as PSG take their time agreeing a fee with RB Leipzig. They, too, have been told that the player is firmly set on a move to the Parc des Princes.
Diomande has been on the North Londoners’ radar throughout the summer, and they reignited their interest after missing out on Rogers. He is one of Europe’s most highly rated wingers and is tipped to become a superstar.

Arsenal Must Go All In On Barcola
With Diomande holding out for a move to PSG, Arsenal are not going to have any joy trying to enter a bidding war with the French giants. They could, however, benefit from the Ivorian making the switch to the Parc des Princes.
Bradley Barcola is on Arteta’s wishlist, and his future is unclear amid the expectation that Diomande joins the Ligue 1 club. Should that happen, it could be an opportune time for the Gunners to swoop for the French winger.
At just 23, Barcola is another one of Europe’s brightest attackers, and he enjoyed an impressive World Cup campaign with France. All the focus should now be on signing the former Lyon man, with Diomande firmly ruled out.

AI Names and Ranks 10 Most Dominant Players in NBA History
The NBA has long been home to some of the most extraordinary athletes in professional sports. As the game has evolved, so too have the strength, conditioning, and overall athleticism of its players, with modern stars placing greater emphasis than ever on physical preparation.
That evolution has produced generations of players capable of overwhelming opponents with a rare combination of size, speed, power, and skill. From unstoppable scorers to dominant defenders, the league has been defined by athletes who could take over games through sheer physical brilliance.
With that in mind, we asked ChatGPT to rank the 10 most dominant players in NBA history, using a clear set of criteria to determine the final order.
Ranking Factors
- Peak performance — How unstoppable they were at their best
- Physical/skill imposition — Ability to overwhelm opponents physically or with sheer skill
- Stats — Raw numbers, advanced metrics, and consistency
- Era context — How they stood relative to their peers and the evolution of the game
- Playoff and finals presence — Impact when it mattered most
10
Zion Williamson
After overpowering opponents during his standout college career at Duke, Zion Williamson announced himself to the NBA in spectacular fashion. In his debut, he erupted for 17 fourth-quarter points, catching fire from beyond the arc and offering a glimpse of the dominant force he could become.
Although Williamson has consistently displayed elite talent, persistent injuries and fitness issues have prevented him from reaching his full potential. Even so, ChatGPT still ranks him among the 10 most dominant players in NBA history, citing the overwhelming physical impact he has made whenever he has been healthy enough to take the court.
What ChatGPT said: Though his resume is short, Zion may be the most physically overwhelming player pound-for-pound since young Shaq. At 6’6″, 285 lbs with a 45-inch vertical, Zion moves like a guard and finishes like a wrecking ball. Defenders bounce off him. If he stays healthy, he could climb this list fast.
9
Karl Malone
Standing at 6 foot 9, but with an incredibly well-built frame, there was no stopping Karl Malone when he put his head down and decided to get to the basket.
One of the NBA’s all-time leading scorers, The Mailman benefitted greatly from playing with one of the best point guards in history, John Stockton. Malone’s greatest strength was his consistency over a long time, and was a key reason behind why the Utah Jazz were a perennial contender for the title during the 1990s.
What ChatGPT said: The Mailman was a physical force, built like a linebacker with elite conditioning. He bulldozed defenders in transition and in half-court. At 6’9”, 260 lbs, with a great midrange shot, he was a nightmare to defend. His strength-based scoring game was highly consistent and brutal over a long career.
8
Kobe Bryant
A Los Angeles Lakers legend, Kobe Bryant goes down as one of the all-time greats, following in the footsteps of the great Michael Jordan before him. Much like the Chicago Bulls star, Bryant married his relentless work ethic with an appetite to score and lead his team to victory.
While he may not have possessed the kind of power of a Shaquille O’Neal or the speed and explosiveness of a LeBron James, he still dominated in his own way.
What ChatGPT said: Kobe dominated with skill, footwork, and relentless intensity. He wasn’t physically overpowering like LeBron or Shaq, but his mastery of shot-making, balance, and control made him nearly impossible to contain in 1-on-1 match-ups. He had the “MJ killer instinct” and a deep offensive bag that defenders couldn’t solve.
7
Kevin Durant
One of the greatest scorers in NBA history, Kevin Durant is ranked seventh on ChatGPT’s list of the most dominant players ever. A true three-level player who can score from anywhere on the court, KD’s talents are perhaps somewhat under-appreciated/disrespected by the fact he won his only two titles by joining the Golden State Warriors and forming a super-team. But regardless of that decision, Durant has more than proved why he is one of the game’s greatest, and remains a fierce competitor.
What ChatGPT said: A 7-foot sniper with guard skills, KD is one of the most unguardable players in league history. His skill dominance lies in his combination of height, shooting, and handle. Few defenders can even contest his shot, let alone stay in front of him. He scores efficiently from anywhere on the floor, against anyone.
6
LeBron James
LeBron James remains one of the NBA’s elite players, with a level of dominance that has endured for more than two decades. His remarkable blend of consistency, longevity, and sustained excellence has set him apart, while his combination of size, strength, and athleticism made him a nightmare match-up throughout his prime.
Although James no longer relies on his explosive speed and overwhelming physicality as often as he once did, he continues to produce spectacular moments. Thanks to his evolving all-round game, basketball IQ, and enduring physical presence, he remains one of the most intimidating and dominant players the sport has ever seen.
What ChatGPT said: LeBron has dominated for over 20 years largely on the back of sheer physical superiority — a 6’9”, 250-lb forward who runs like a guard, passes like Magic, and finishes like Karl Malone. While not as “kill-first” as MJ or Kobe, when he chooses to attack, there’s usually nothing opponents can do to stop him.
5
Michael Jordan
Seeing Michael Jordan ranked fifth on any all-time NBA list is bound to spark debate. The Chicago Bulls icon defined an era throughout the 1990s, leading the franchise to unprecedented success while establishing himself as one of the game’s most complete players.
Jordan’s relentless scoring ability and elite defensive instincts made him a dominant force on both ends of the court. Opponents struggled to contain his explosive drives to the basket and trademark mid-range jumper, while his anticipation and knack for forcing turnovers highlighted the defensive intelligence that helped separate him from his peers.
What ChatGPT said: Jordan wasn’t just skillful—he was relentlessly physical at 6’6″, 215 lbs with freakish hand size, vertical leap, and strength. He bullied defenders in the post, finished through contact, and wore teams down mentally. Combine that with the best midrange game in history and cold-blooded clutch ability, and he was unstoppable.
4
Hakeem Olajuwon
In the conversation for the greatest center of all time, Hakeem Olajuwon was one of the best two-way forces in the 1990s. An NBA MVP and a winner of the Defensive Player of the Year award, the Houston Rockets big man anchored their title-winning defence and got it done on the other end too.
Armed with his famed ‘Dream Shake’, Olajuwon left opposition defenders in a muddle, twisting this way and that before showing great touch to finish.
What ChatGPT said: Hakeem overwhelmed opponents not with size, but with surgical footwork, balance, and finesse. His “Dream Shake” destroyed even the best defenders (Robinson, Ewing, Shaq). Add in his elite rim protection and mobility, and you get one of the most complete dominant forces ever.
3
Giannis Antetokounmpo
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s transformation since entering the NBA has been nothing short of extraordinary. Once viewed as a raw prospect with a slender frame, the Milwaukee Bucks superstar has developed into one of the league’s most physically imposing forces. Aptly nicknamed the ‘Greek Freak’, Antetokounmpo can glide past defenders with ease, while his ability to race the length of the court and finish emphatically at the rim makes him one of basketball’s most unstoppable players.
Still in the prime of his career, Antetokounmpo will be aiming to add more MVP awards to his resume while leading the Bucks in pursuit of another NBA championship. If Milwaukee can continue to build a title-contending roster around him, he has every chance to further cement his legacy among the game’s all-time greats.
What ChatGPT said: Giannis is the modern version of a freight train. He goes coast-to-coast in a few strides, finishes through triple teams, and defends 1–5. At 6’11” with guard speed and agility, he scores at will in transition and in the paint. His Finals performance in 2021 was a masterclass in physical dominance, capped by a 50-point closeout.
2
Wilt Chamberlain
In the battle for the most dominant player in NBA history, Wilt Chamberlain can count himself desperately unlucky not to find himself at the top of this list, but that is not to underestimate just how brilliant he was. The scorer of the only 100-point game in history, Chamberlain’s height made him a rebounding machine, and he would lead the league in the category for several seasons.
What ChatGPT said: Wilt was a generational physical specimen. He ran track, bench-pressed 500 lbs, and averaged 50 points per game in a season. He once led the league in assists — as a center. The gap between his physical gifts and his era’s defenders was unprecedented. If strength and size equal dominance, Wilt nearly tops the list.
1
Shaquille O’Neal
According to ChatGPT, Shaquille O’Neal ranks as the most dominant player in NBA history. Throughout his career, the legendary center overwhelmed opponents with a rare combination of size, power, and athleticism. His postseason performances during the Los Angeles Lakers’ three-peat remain among the most impressive in league history, with O’Neal capturing Finals MVP honours in each of the three championship runs.
After showcasing his extraordinary potential and explosiveness with the Orlando Magic, O’Neal reached his peak after joining the Lakers. At his physical prime, “The Big Diesel” was nearly impossible to contain, overpowering defenders in the post and redefining what dominance looked like for a center. His unmatched strength and presence around the rim made him one of the most feared forces the NBA has ever seen.
What ChatGPT said: No one in NBA history has combined size, power, and agility like Shaq in his prime. He demolished elite centers (Mutombo, Robinson, Duncan) with brute force. Teams hacked him just to avoid being dunked on. At 7’1″, 325 lbs with nimble feet and explosive vertical, he was simply unguardable physically.

Roberto Carlos Named His 3 Greatest Players in Football History
Roberto Carlos’ left foot struck fear in the hearts of the opposition because it was such a lethal weapon throughout the Real Madrid legend’s illustrious career. The Brazilian starred for Los Blancos and the Brazil national team, a key member of the Galacticos era at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Madrid have always possessed at least three or four high-profile names whose fame can even outshine their ability. But Carlos remained a world-class full-back throughout his spell in the Spanish capital despite the life of luxury that came with it, including using “only private jets” to travel.
Carlos played a crucial role in four La Liga title wins and was a standout performer for Selecao at the 2002 World Cup alongside Ronaldo Nazario, Ronaldinho and Rivaldo.
He never looked out of place alongside star names. That’s why it’s interesting to hear who he believes are the three best players ever to grace a football pitch. He surprisingly omitted three-time World Cup winner Pele.
Rio Ferdinand interviewed Carlos, whom he called the best left-back of all time, on his YouTube channel and asked the Brazilian to name his three all-time greats. He went with two former teammates and an Argentine not by the name of Lionel Messi.
Ronaldo Nazario
Ronaldo Nazario is a player Carlos knows extremely well; in fact, he played alongside the pacey striker in four different teams, including the Brazil side who lit up the World Cup in South Korea/Japan in 2002.
The legendary frontman was unstoppable at his peak, winning the Golden Boot at that tournament as well as tormenting defenders in Spain at Madrid and previously at Barcelona. He surprisingly never won the Champions League but did claim the European Cup Winners’ Cup while at Camp Nou in 1997.
Carlos waxed lyrical about Ronaldo and his playing style that many feel makes him the best out-and-out number nine in history:
“Ronaldo is a top player. Very fast and very intelligent. He was an example for the younger players, for me he’s the number one. Playing with him for Real Madrid for such a long time (was) magic.”

Diego Maradona
Messi often makes it onto most former players’ all-time greatest list, but there was no place for the Barca legend in Carlos’ top three. He still went with an Argentine hero who similarly captivated fans throughout his career with his genius on the ball.
Diego Maradona was unplayable on his day and a joy to watch thanks to incredible dribbling and footballing intelligence. His brilliance was on display in Argentina’s 1986 World Cup win, and even Carlos put aside the South American nations’ rivalry.
Carlos explained in an interview with FourFourTwo why Maradona was his idol:
“He was a strong character, a great leader, who enjoyed being with a football. He has always been, and always will be, my reference. People ask if that’s strange, but I’ve never seen Pele play – only pictures. I’ve played against Maradona, too, and he was incredible.”

Zinedine Zidane
Another of Carlos’ former Madrid teammates and a player who truly lived up to the ‘Galactico’ label was Zinedine Zidane. The French midfielder was a world-class talent, one of the most gifted players with the ball at their feet.
Zidane drove Los Blancos’ midfield with aplomb, picking his man out with an eye-of-the-needle pass while also showcasing his goalscoring abilities. His volley against Bayer Leverkusen in the 2002 Champions League final will forever be remembered as one of football’s sweetest strikes.
Carlos played a vital role in that goal, assisting Zidane with a cross that he called “terrible” but “perfect”. Perfect is the way he would describe France’s 1998 World Cup hero who headed a brace in a 3-0 win over Brazil in the final:
”He was just magical. The world stopped to see Zidane play.”
