West Ham Star Jarrod Bowen Wants to Stay Amid Liverpool Interest

Published

on

Liverpool have suffered a blow in pursuit of one of their targets after he confirmed that he doesn’t want to leave his club in the summer transfer window.

Liverpool’s major priority in the summer is likely to be to find a replacement for Mohamed Salah, who will be leaving the club.

The Egyptian international has been one of the best players in the Premier League since he arrived at Anfield. Although he’s not hit the numbers he usually would this season, it’s imperative that Liverpool replace him adequately.

Signing a right winger should be number one on their shortlists, and they’ve been linked to a host of targets for that position already.

It remains to be seen who is their number one target, but it seems that one of their potential options has ruled out a move.

Liverpool Target Drops Hint on Future

Liverpool have suffered a blow in pursuit of one of their targets for the right winger position ahead of the summer transfer window.

West Ham winger Jarrod Bowen has confirmed that he wants to stay with the Hammers next season to help them try to gain promotion back to the Premier League following their relegation.

“I’m under contract here. There’s going to be rumours, there’s going to be talk, but ultimately what I see is getting this club back in the Premier League, because that’s where they deserve to be.”

Bowen is clearly hinting that he wants to remain with West Ham to help them get back to where he feels they belong.

Of course, things can change quickly in football, but it is a big comment for the England international to make so soon after suffering relegation.

Liverpool Linked With Bowen Move

Jarrod Bowen

Reports emerged earlier this month that Liverpool are interested in signing West Ham winger Bowen if they were relegated from the Premier League.

The Hammers’ relegation has now been confirmed after Tottenham secured survival, potentially opening the door for them to secure his signature.

However, Bowen’s recent comments may have poured cold water over that, and it remains to be seen whether he will depart.

Bowen, described as ‘elite’ by journalist Miguel Delaney, would undoubtedly be a smart signing for Liverpool, but it might not be easy to prise him away from West Ham.

Liverpool Must Offload Struggling Cody Gakpo This Summer

Published

Liverpool ended the season with a disappointing 1-1 draw against Brentford at Anfield, but they still secured Champions League football.

It has been a disappointing season overall for the Reds, considering they won the Premier League in the previous campaign.

Liverpool need to make some changes in the summer transfer window, as some of the players simply haven’t been good enough. The Liverpool hierarchy appear to be backing Arne Slot despite the poor form, so changes will need to be made on the pitch.

There’s no doubt the Liverpool hierarchy need to look in the mirror too, as their recruitment wasn’t good enough last summer and needs to improve over the next few months.

Huge Update Emerges on Future of ‘World-Class’ Liverpool Star Amid Exit Agreement

Liverpool fans won’t want to miss this.

Liverpool Star Not Good Enough

Liverpool manager Arne Slot smiles vs Galatasaray

One player Liverpool needs to get rid of in the summer transfer window is Dutch forward Cody Gakpo.

It was yet another disappointing performance from Gakpo, with This Is Anfield suggesting that he’s not good enough to be in Liverpool’s strongest XI.

“If anyone desperately needs this season to end, it’s Gakpo, as he finished the campaign with his latest forgettable showing.

Everything he did felt like it was in slow motion, and he had just two touches in Brentford‘s penalty area in the opening 45 minutes.

Not good enough to be in Liverpool’s strongest XI.”

Gakpo is one player who has struggled for form this season, but Slot seems to persist with playing him regularly, making 32 Premier League starts this season.

The 27-year-old has provided 12 goals and assists from those 31 starts, which isn’t a strong enough return for a side looking to compete for Premier League titles.

Liverpool Need Forward Additions

cody gakpo

In the summer transfer window, Liverpool desperately need to bring in forward additions for multiple reasons.

Mohamed Salah is already confirmed to be leaving the club, so signing a replacement for him will be imperative. If they also sold Gakpo, although he has struggled with consistency, they would still need to find a replacement for him too.

The Reds won’t accept another season of failing to compete for the Premier League title, so if they want to go to the next level again, they need to bring in better options in the attack.

Liverpool need to go back in the right direction, and they need to do it fast.

12 Tottenham Players Who May Now Have Played Their Final Spurs Game

Tottenham’s nightmare season has finally come to an end, with their Premier League status confirmed on the final day after a nervous clash with Everton.

Now, the task for Roberto De Zerbi will be to help transform Spurs from bottom-half strugglers back into European contention once again.

That will require plenty of changes over the summer transfer window, with a healthy mixture of exits for a few players and new signings to add quality across every single position.

With the season now over, here’s a look at every Tottenham player who may have now played their last game for the North London club.

Cristian Romero

One player who looks certain to leave Tottenham this summer is Cristian Romero, with the club captain continuing to be linked with a possible exit.

Both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid have been linked with Romero, and it remains to be seen which of the Spanish giants could make their move.

The 28-year-old has made 156 appearances for Spurs, with 13 goals and seven assists in that time, but injuries and suspensions have been issues for the Argentinian international this campaign.

Another defender who has been rumoured with an exit is Micky van de Ven, who has shown plenty of quality in his time at Tottenham so far.

With pace to burn, the Dutch centre-back has been linked with a move to Liverpool and Manchester United, though it remains to be seen whether either of the Premier League rivals will position themselves to land him in the coming weeks.

The 25-year-old has three years remaining on his current contract, but he could well force a transfer.

Guglielmo Vicario

A change in goal is expected this summer, as Guglielmo Vicario has been linked with a possible transfer return to Serie A on the cards in the form of Inter Milan.

The shot-stopper has made 31 appearances in the Premier League this season, but there has been criticism for his performances, while Antonin Kinsky ended the season as number one, following an injury to Vicario.

It’s unclear how much Spurs could make from selling the Italy international, but an exit remains on the cards.

Yves Bissouma

Yves Bissouma‘s contract at Tottenham is expiring this summer, and it could be an ideal time for both the player and club to part ways.

The Malian international has made over 100 appearances for Spurs since joining from Brighton, with a career in North London that has been hit by injuries.

A midfield refresh is to be expected, and it would be no surprise to see Bissouma’s deal not extended as a result.

Ben Davies

Ben Davies

Ben Davies will be remembered as a club legend at Tottenham, but with his deal coming to an end, it may be time for his chapter at the club to come to an end.

Serious injury has kept the experienced star out of action for the latter half of the campaign, with the lack of leadership in his absence seeming quite clear.

The Welsh ace has over 350 appearances for Spurs, and it’s unclear whether he will retire and stay in the coaching setup if his deal isn’t extended, or if he plans to move elsewhere.

Joao Palhinha

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Joao Palhinha celebrates Premier League win over Aston Villa

Perhaps the most important piece of business conducted last summer was Joao Palhinha‘s season-long loan from Bayern Munich.

Few players have delivered moments quite as important as those from the Portuguese midfielder, who has landed some important finishes when it really matters.

While the game-changing impact of Palhinha is clear, what isn’t as clear is whether the 30-year-old will return to North London next season.

Randal Kolo Muani

Randal Kolo Muani has been slightly more disappointing since making his loan move to Tottenham from PSG, struggling to make any notable impact.

The versatile striker has scored just five times across all competitions, one of those in the Premier League, without the threat in his performances to back up any possible hint of a return.

Kolo Muani has been linked with Juventus as his next destination, which would be a return to the club he joined on loan last season.

Radu Dragusin

Radu Dragusin’s move to Tottenham hasn’t quite worked out as many would’ve hoped, despite some early signs that the defender could be an impressive acquisition.

The Romanian international had interest from Bayern Munich, but his decision to join Spurs came with the promise of more opportunities in the backline.

Having seemingly become fourth-choice behind Van de Ven, Romero, and Kevin Danso, a switch almost certainly seems to be on the cards.

Manor Solomon

manor solomon

Forward Manor Solomon hasn’t featured for Tottenham since 2023, and has featured on loan for a host of clubs in the time since.

The 26-year-old has two more years on his deal, but is currently on loan at Fiorentina, who have an option to buy included in the deal that could be activated.

Alfie Devine

Alfie Devine for Tottenham

Tottenham academy graduate Alfie Devine has impressed on loan at Preston North End, which has led to some interest from other second-tier clubs.

The midfielder has a permanent deal clause in his loan at Preston, but with that sitting at £4.5 million, it’s unclear whether the club can afford it.

Devine has made just two appearances for Tottenham, and it looks likely that he will start a new chapter elsewhere this summer.

Alejo Veliz

Tottenham Hotspur striker Alejo Veliz

Striker Alejo Veliz has struggled to make an impact, and is currently on loan at Rosario Central, before he makes a permanent exit from Tottenham.

The 22-year-old has agreed a deal to join Brazilian club Bahia, which will go ahead in June.

Dane Scarlett

Dane Scarlett has been in and out of the Tottenham squad in past years, with the 22-year-old still hoping to have his moment to break into the team.

The striker has spent the second half of the season on loan with Hibernian, where he scored just once, and will return to Spurs with just one year left on his deal.

Scarlett has played 27 times for Spurs, with one goal and three assists for the club.

10 Players Who May Now Have Played Their Last Game For Man Utd Including £26M Ace

Manchester United’s 2025/26 season has come to an end, and while it threatened to be full of chaos at times, Michael Carrick stabilised things and ensured fans have some hope heading into the summer.

A third-placed finish in the Premier League has secured a return to the Champions League next campaign, with some hope that next season will also add some deeper runs in the domestic cups.

That will mean Manchester United need a squad refresh in the summer transfer window, with some potential exits helping to push through deals for some possible arrivals.

With the season now coming to a close, here’s a look at ten players who may have played their final game for the club.

Casemiro

Manchester United midfielder Casemiro waves at fans

After a four-year stint at Old Trafford, Casemiro will be signing off from Manchester United with 160 appearances, 26 goals, and 14 assists to his name.

The Brazilian midfielder is out of contract this summer, and has been linked with a move to MLS side Inter Miami for the summer, with Carrick confirming that the experienced veteran would make his final appearance for the Red Devils against Nottingham Forest.

In that game, Casemiro received a standing ovation, signing off in successful fashion with the club.

Tyrell Malacia

Tyrell Malacia

Manchester United have confirmed that Tyrell Malacia will leave the club at the end of his contract, which expires this summer, after a four-year stay.

The left-back made 49 appearances for the Red Devils, with only four of those coming this season.

Tom Heaton

Third-choice goalkeeper Tom Heaton is out of contract this summer, with it being unclear whether a new deal will be on the table for him at Old Trafford.

The 40-year-old has only had to play three times for the club since joining in 2021, with none of those coming this campaign.

Altay Bayindir

man utd altay bayindir

Altay Bayindir has had a topsy-turvy career at Manchester United, starting the first six games of this Premier League season, but quickly dropping back to second-choice behind Senne Lammens afterward.

Since then, the Turkish international has been linked with an exit from the Red Devils, as clubs circle a possible deal for the 28-year-old in the weeks ahead.

Manuel Ugarte

Manchester United need midfield reinforcements this summer, which could see several players signed, and a few exits over the coming weeks.

One of those linked with a move away from Old Trafford is Manuel Ugarte, who has struggled to make a meaningful impact since joining from PSG in 2024.

The Uruguayan international has made just over 20 appearances for United this season, but has often been behind the likes of Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes, and Kobbie Mainoo in the pecking order.

It remains to be seen who could make a move for the midfielder, but his time with the Red Devils appears to be over for now.

Joshua Zirkzee

Changes up front are expected this summer, and Joshua Zirkzee is among those who are expected to depart from Manchester United in the next few weeks.

The forward hasn’t always been used in a way that plays to his strengths, and a return to Serie A could be on the cards, as links ramp up over a possible move.

The 25-year-old has only managed nine goals for the club over two campaigns, with other options on the table up front in the coming months of the market.

Mason Mount

mason mount man utd

Mason Mount‘s struggles at Manchester United have been well-documented since his big-money move from Chelsea, with injuries clearly hampering his time at Old Trafford.

The 27-year-old has two years left on his deal with the club, and with fitness being a key concern for next season, it may well be time for him to depart.

Mount has been impressive when available, capable of featuring anywhere across the frontline, and midfield, but there are questions over his future, and whether he could receive interest from elsewhere.

Andre Onana

andre onana

Andre Onana has been out-of-favour at Manchester United over the past season, reflected in his loan switch to Trabzonspor for the whole campaign.

The 30-year-old may have two years left on his contract with the Red Devils, but with a clear need to play football regularly, he could make a move away.

United would clearly be open to a sale, but it remains to be seen where the Cameroonian international could end up as a result.

Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford‘s future at Manchester United is still uncertain, despite his impressive campaign with Barcelona, which could yet end with a permanent deal there.

The forward has 14 goals and 14 assists this season for the Blaugrana, and with a £26 million clause in his loan deal, there was a belief that a move would be made.

However, as Barcelona appear to continue haggling over a new deal, it’s unclear whether he will be back at the Nou Camp or returning to his parent club.

Jadon Sancho‘s time at Manchester United appears to be coming towards an end, as his contract expires this summer, with no sign of an extension in sight.

The winger has been spending the season on loan at Aston Villa, where he was often used as an impact substitute or a depth option in key competitions.

The 26-year-old is now being linked with a move to Borussia Dortmund, while other parties could yet put their name in the hat for a free transfer.
