Arsenal have now agreed a fee to secure a new signing ahead of Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners and United could be shopping in a similar market in the summer transfer window, with both sides competing in the Champions League next season.
Unfortunately for Manchester United, Arsenal could have an advantage if competing for signings after they lifted the Premier League title last campaign.
Mikel Arteta’s side are one of the most attractive prospects in European football at the moment, with a number of players likely to dream of playing for the North London club.
United and Arsenal were both competing for one winger, but it now appears the Gunners have won the race.

Arsenal Beat Man Utd to Signing
According to a report from Talksport, Arsenal have now agreed a fee with Leicester City to sign young winger Jeremy Monga, beating Manchester United in the race for his signature. The Red Devils are named as one of the interested clubs, but Monga has now opted to join the Gunners.
Monga, described as ‘special’, is now set to join Arsenal for a fee in the region of £10m.
It’s claimed that Arsenal ‘stole a march’ on United, and he now looks set to make the move to the Emirates Stadium.
