Tottenham Make Offer to Sign Victor Osimhen

Published

on

Tottenham Hotspur have identified Savinho and Cody Gakpo as two signings they still want to make before the September 1 deadline, but talk is increasing that a new striker could still arrive too.

Roberto De Zerbi’s Tottenham rebuild is coming together nicely so far, with bundles of Premier League experience in north London, and Spurs’ transfer record broken twice for Mateus Fernandes and then Sandro Tonali.

As can be the case, it is the attacking additions that are taking the longest to get over the line, with all the club’s six additions so far being either goalkeepers, defenders or midfielders.

De Zerbi has confirmed that he is expecting two or three more signings before the transfer window shuts, with Savinho and Gakpo widely reported as two players the Italian wants at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next term.

Progress is slow however, with Manchester City seemingly wanting to land a replacement for Savinho before they have any intention of finalising an agreement with Tottenham, with the two parties having already held talks over a potential transfer 12 months ago.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are looking to add to their frontline following the exit of Mohamed Salah, rather than losing someone like Gakpo, who was a regular starter last term.

Of course, if the Reds complete some incoming business then things could change, but it remains a complicated deal to do.

Tottenham Make £55m Approach to Sign Victor Osimhen

According to a report from CaughtOffside, Tottenham have made an approach worth £55m to sign Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen.

Tottenham have been linked with a number of different strikers in recent days, including Folarin Balogun and Nicolas Jackson, with a transfer likely to be pursued should either Dominic Solanke or Richarlison leave the club in the next few weeks.

It appears more like that the latter would leave than Solanke, who it has often been claimed De Zerbi is a big fan of, with the Brazilian consistently linked with a move away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

While there has been no official approach or direct contact between Spurs and Galatasaray yet, they are sounding out potential offers for a player that the Turkish giants are said to value at £65m.

Osimhen is a Huge Nicolas Jackson Upgrade

While Jackson would join Tottenham with that Premier League experience that De Zerbi seemingly craves, there is no doubt that Osimhen has proven he is a level above his fellow African striker in recent years.

Since joining Chelsea in 2023, Jackson has scored 41 goals in club football, for the Blues and on loan at Bayern Munich last season.

In the same time-frame, Osimhen has 76, and he has been scoring at a rate of knots for Galatasaray across the two previous campaigns.

It was the Nigerian’s spell at Napoli that was most impressive though, as he was one of the key figures in Napoli’s historic 2023 Scudetto win, shining alongside Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in attack.

Osimhen has that X-Factor and has been labelled as the ‘best striker in the world’ by his international manager. While that is more than up for debate, he is clearly a player who deserves to be playing among the elite, and he looks to have all the attributes needed to be a big hit in the Premier League.

Footage of Him Playing Golf Goes Viral After Winning 43rd Club Championship

Donald Trump has once again had his golfing abilities called into question after he announced he had won the Senior and Super Senior Men’s Club Championship at his Bedminster golf course in New Jersey.

The octogenarian United States of America president has emerged as a polarising figure on the golf course, where viral videos showcasing the convicted felon’s fairway prowess have captivated social media.

Trump has claimed to have posted a two-under 70 to win the Senior and Super Senior Men’s Club Championship at his Bedminster golf course in New Jersey. According to the president, this is the 43rd Club Championship he has won across his collection of golf courses.

Donald Trump

According to the club’s PGA Championship page, Trump won both titles simultaneously in 2023, as well as recording a sole Senior Championship victory in 2024.

Donald Trump’s Controversial Reaction to Golf Win

On his own social media website, Truth Social, Trump was quick to exult in his own bravado.

“I won with a score of 70, and am so honoured in that, unlike the rest of the field, I’m given very little time to practise, because I’m focused on many other things.

“It’s called TALENT, and I have it, and they don’t!”

Following Trump’s triumphant win, however, editor-in-chief of Media Touch and former attorney Ron Filipkowski posted two videos to his X account which have called his claims into question.

The first is a one-minute montage of 13 seemingly easy putts that any semi-good golf player could sink. No person is expecting Trump to make all 13 shots, but his peculiar way of hitting the ball with his putter has fans asking questions online.

One commenter humorously said: “He’s as good a putter as he is a president. Maybe better!”

The second video Filipkowski posted shows Trump on the fairway, looking to chip the ball onto the green.

After having a few tentative swings, the US president squares up to the ball, keeps his eye firmly locked, swings his club back… before shanking the ball far to the right, compounding his distance from the hole.

As these two videos gain traction on social media, Trump’s claim of hitting a two-under 70 has been cast into serious doubt.

This is, of course, not the first time the president has been accused of cheating in his favourite pastime.

American sports writer Rick Reilly’s book – titled Commander in Cheat – has previously suggested that Trump has been known to blur the lines at golf.

“At Winged Foot, where Trump is a member, the caddies got so used to seeing him kick his ball back onto the fairway they came up with a nickname for him: Pele,” Reilly said in his book.

Trump, however, has denied any allegations of cheating, adhering to his familiar pattern of never admitting a mistake.

Real Madrid Legend Cristiano Ronaldo Shows Off His Supercar Collection

Former Manchester United and Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo’s incredible fame allows him to have the financial freedom to own the supercar garage that anyone could dream about having. Now, he has shown off the extraordinary toys he has bought over the years, admitting he’s lost count of just how many he has.

The 41-year-old, whose career highlights include being football’s highest goalscorer – having won five Ballon d’Or mantles, five Champions League titles, and a total haul of 35 trophies – was announced as football’s first billionaire in 2025. “If I had to bet I’d honestly say [I have] 40 or 41 [cars],’ Ronaldo told close friend Piers Morgan in an interview around the same time. “Honestly I don’t know. I love the Bugattis, they are different beasts.”

In a recent Instagram post, the Portugal international, who now plies his trade in Saudi Arabia for Al-Nassr, flaunted just some of his most expensive assets in a carousel. The pictures offer a rare window into the luxurious life of the most famous person in football.

In the aforementioned carousel of pictures, Ronaldo allowed fans a glimpse of just some of the motors he owns with the understated caption (see the full post below):

As per the Daily Mail, among those pictured in his most recent post are a raft of Ferraris, including a Purosangue, priced at £312,000, a Ferrari 599 GTO (priced at over £500,000), a Ferrari SP3 Daytona, which is worth around £1.73million, and a stunning Ferrari Monza SP1 – a rare model which has reached auction prices of nearly £2.27m.

Also in the collection pictured are two Bugattis: a £2m Veyron and an ultra-rare Centodieci, of which only 10 were ever made by the Italian manafacturer. In February last year, RM Sotheby’s sold one for a staggering estimate of £12.5m, with the limited edition car able to reach 240mph and named as one of the most expensive in the world.

Ronaldo also allowed followers a look at his McLaren Speedtail which can fetch up to £2.1m, and a Mercedes AMG One, a hybrid hypercar priced upwards of £2.2m. Elsewhere, his jaw-dropping earnings – £194 million per year – has allowed him to acquire a £3.2m Bugatti Tourbillon as “an investment” rather than for fun.

Also in his collection is a £600,000 Mercedes G-Wagon Brabus, gifted to him by partner Georgina Rodriguez. His garage also features a £200,000 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG, a striking orange McLaren MP4-12C valued at around £200,000, and a Lamborghini Aventador worth approximately £270,000. Following his return to Manchester United from Juventus in August 2021, Ronaldo also added a £250,000 Bentley Flying Spur, which he used during his second spell with the club.

Ronaldo Supercar Garage is Neverending

Ronaldo has previously also purchased a £200,000 Aston Martin DBS Superleggera convertible which boasts a 5.2 litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine and is capable of delivering a stunning 715 bhp. He has a Bentley Continental GT, a Lamborghini Urus and a Chevrolet Camaro worth ‘only’ £40,000, which is used for the family.

Rodriguez splashed out on a third Rolls Royce for his 36th birthday – complimenting the two he already had: a Cullinan worth £300,000 and a Phantom Drophead coupe which costs around £500,000. Hepurchase of the Dawn model is understood to have cost around £500,000.

The Al-Nassr squad are each gifted a BMW due to the manufacturer’s partnership with the Saudi Pro League club before every season, though it’s not certain which model Ronaldo picked this time around as he recently showed off a huge diamond ring in the anticipation that he is getting married this summer.

Brock Lesnar’s 9-Word Comment to Jake Paul’s Face at WWE Event

Published

By

Brock Lesnar has officially retired from WWE after a 26-year tenure from 2000 to 2026.

During his two-and-a-half decades at the company, Lesnar struck fear into the other fighters, commanding a level of respect rarely seen within the industry.

His signature German Suplex became a feat to behold, most famously showcased during the 12th of June 2003 episode of SmackDown. Lesnar hoisted 500-pound The Big Show through the air, delivering a thunderous impact that caused the entire ring to cave in under the immense weight of the World’s Largest Athlete.

The former UFC heavyweight champion was one of WWE’s most dominant Superstars, being a seven-time Undisputed WWE Champion. All considered, this makes praise from The Beast Incarnate hard to come by. Lesnar rarely hands out any form of compliment.

That is why one brief backstage encounter from almost four years ago, featuring an unlikely recipient of his admiration, has continued to captivate fans.

Brock Lesnar’s Interaction With Jake Paul

The moment came backstage at WWE’s Crown Jewel event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on the 5th of November 2022.

As Logan Paul was gearing up for the biggest fight of his career – a singles match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Roman Reignshis brother Jake was exploring the outside of the arena when he bumped into Lesnar.

In a short interaction, The Beast Incarnate asked Jake if he was excited, before offering a message that appeared to reflect his admiration for what the Paul brothers had achieved.

“I’ve followed you guys. I’m proud of you guys.”

Jake Paul

Jake, visibly caught off guard by the intimidating figure’s unexpected words of encouragement, thanked Lesnar before the pair posed for a photo. Paul later shared the image on his X account, captioning it: “Future tag team partner.”

The interaction quickly spread across social media, with many fans surprised – and some delighted – to see one of professional wrestling’s most intimidating figures reveal a softer, more personable side, as he praised two brothers whose rise across both boxing and WWE has so often divided opinion.

While Logan has established himself as one of WWE’s biggest attractions, Jake has carved out an increasingly credible boxing career, defeating several opponents to become one of the sport’s most recognisable names.

Logan would later lose his bout to Reigns – in what was just the influencer’s third WWE match – but the Paul brothers returned from the Middle East with respect from one of the most menacing fighters of the 21st century.

Receiving recognition from a fighter of Lesnar’s stature is not something many can claim, making his nine-word message all the more meaningful.
