Man Utd Eyeing Summer Move for Everton Winger Iliman Ndiaye
Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye ahead of the summer transfer window, according to a report from TEAMtalk.
It’s shaping up to be a quiet end to the January transfer window for the Red Devils, especially after two impressive wins on the bounce under Michael Carrick. The Manchester club could look to keep their powder dry until the summer, when more high-profile players are likely to become available for more reasonable prices.
The January window is always difficult to find players for good value, with clubs unwilling to sell their best players during the middle of the season. There’s no doubt United could do with bringing in some reinforcements as soon as possible, but it certainly wouldn’t be a surprise to see them wait until the summer.
Man Utd Eyeing Everton Forward in Summer
According to a report from TEAMtalk, Manchester United are expected to have Everton forward Ndiaye on their shortlist for the summer transfer window, but it could take a huge fee to prise him away from the Toffees. A number of clubs are believed to be keen on the tricky winger, who has been described as ‘one of the best’ in his position by The Athletic’s Patrick Boyland.
It’s claimed that the Toffees could demand a fee in the region of £75m, which is their current record sale, if they are to allow Ndiaye to head through the exit door in the summer. The Merseyside club rejected an offer of around £40m from Inter Milan during the previous summer transfer window, and it appears it’s going to take almost double for the Toffees to even consider a departure.
Ndiaye’s Versatility Would be Beneficial to Man Utd
Ndiaye has predominantly played on the right-hand side of attack for United this season, mainly due to the arrival of Jack Grealish from Manchester City. During Ndiaye’s time at Sheffield United, he was utilised in an attacking midfield position, almost playing as a second striker, while he’s also featured off the left-hand side for Everton.
Having a player who is capable of playing in a host of different positions to a strong level would be hugely beneficial for United, and if they continue with Michael Carrick’s 4-2-3-1 system, he could play anywhere behind the striker. It won’t be easy to prise him away, but a £75m fee could be worth every penny.

Andy Roddick Named His Greatest Male Tennis Player of All Time
For more than two decades, men’s tennis was shaped by three legendary figures. Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic ruled the sport, amassing a remarkable 66 Grand Slam titles between them and creating legacies that will be remembered for generations.
Federer was the first to make his mark, capturing Wimbledon in 2003. Nadal followed two years later by claiming the first of his record 14 French Open crowns, while Djokovic joined the club in 2008 when he ended a run of 11 consecutive Grand Slam titles won solely by Federer or Nadal.
All three stars eventually surpassed the 20 Grand Slam milestone, an achievement no other male player has managed to match. As their careers unfolded simultaneously, discussions over who should be regarded as the greatest player of all time became one of tennis’ most enduring debates.
Andy Roddick’s Opinion on Tennis GOAT
One man uniquely qualified to weigh in on the topic is Andy Roddick. The former world number one won the US Open in 2003, the same season Federer launched his own Grand Slam success story.
Renowned for possessing one of the most powerful serves in tennis history, regularly topping 140mph, Roddick faced each member of the iconic trio on the sport’s biggest stages, including a memorable Wimbledon final against Federer in 2009.
John McEnroe Named Greatest Tennis Player of Every Surface
Legendary tennis figure, John McEnroe, named who he believes to be the GOAT of every tennis surface.
In 2023, Roddick offered his perspective on the “GOAT” discussion and explained the reasoning behind his selection.
“There are two GOAT arguments, right? There’s one based on stats and there’s one based on feelings,” he said.
“With Novak [Djokovic], if you just put his numbers side-by-side, Slam totals, head-to-head record against most people on earth. He has a positive head-to-head record against his two biggest rivals, has won the most Masters 1000s, and he’s adding weeks to the all-time number one list. It’s actually hard to make a statistical argument against Novak having the best resume ever at this point.
“Then the conversation, eventually, when someone’s countering that, comes into stylistically. I like this person, and this person carries themselves a certain way.”
While acknowledging that personal preference often shapes opinions, Roddick made it clear that he prefers to “lean into the numbers a little bit more.”
Using that approach, Djokovic’s case appears exceptionally strong. The Serbian owns 24 Grand Slam titles, holds winning head-to-head records against both Federer and Nadal, has collected more Masters 1000 trophies than any player in history, and spent a record 428 weeks ranked as world number one. Those accomplishments have helped build a resume that many consider the strongest the sport has ever seen.

Tottenham Agree Personal Terms With Jan Paul van Hecke
Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement with Jan Paul van Hecke over a move from Brighton this summer, according to Voetbal International.
Spurs are in the midst of a major squad rebuild this summer after narrowly avoiding relegation to the Championship thanks to a win on the final day of the Premier League season against Everton.
Marcos Senesi and Andy Robertson have already agreed deals to join from Bournemouth and Liverpool respectively, and a bid has now been tabled to Brighton to bring in yet another central defender for Roberto De Zerbi.
Tottenham Agree Terms With Van Hecke
The bid has been described as ‘serious’ according to a report by Dutch outlet VI, and it has now emerged that the two clubs are in negotiations to find an agreement, with a deal possibly being finalised before the World Cup begins next week.
Van Hecke is understood to be very open to joining the north London club, having entered the final year of his contract with the Seagulls, and is looking for a new challenge in his career.
Spurs are understood to be in pole position to get a deal done for the 25-year-old, despite rival interest from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City.
Personal terms are not an issue, with a contract broadly agreed between club and player, and van Hecke believes that Tottenham will quickly bounce back towards the top of the division under the management of De Zerbi.
De Zerbi and Van Hecke worked together at Brighton between 2022 and 2024, and the Italian coach views the centre back as a crucial building block to getting the team away from relegation battles and back to contention in Europe.

Van Hecke Valuation Could Be an Issue
Van Hecke is entering the final year of his contract at the Amex Stadium, but that hasn’t stopped Brighton from slapping a £70m valuation on his head as they look for maximum value.
Spurs’ initial bid was below that valuation, although it hasn’t been made public what the amount was, but if Brighton are going to keep demanding such a big fee, then it could well stop any deal from progressing as quickly as they’d hope.
If they can agree a fee for much less than that, then a deal could be ideal for the club. But if the fee isn’t going to drop, then it’s probably a deal that they should consider walking away from until Brighton come to their senses.

Planned Winner of 2026 Tournament Revealed
The 2026 King of the Ring tournament got underway this week on WWE Raw, with the finals of both the men’s and women’s events set to take place at the Night of Champions Premium Live Event on the 27th of June.
The King of the Ring has historically been a single-elimination tournament. However, this year, WWE has flipped the script by making every first round match a fatal-four way bout.
Oba Femi and IYO Sky became the first Superstars to book their places in the semi-finals after winning their respective matches on Monday.
The 2026 King of the Ring Winners Will Secure A Big Prize
Despite the 16-man tournament still being in its very early stages, a backstage report has leaked the planned winner of the men’s crown. The stakes couldn’t be higher for the King of the Ring winners as they will earn themselves a world championship opportunity at SummerSlam.
Per Ibou on the Self Made Sessions, a decision has been made by WWE creative on the outcome of the tournament, leading to a marquee match at SummerSlam in August.
Although Oba Femi was the first man to qualify for the semi finals, ‘The Ruler’ reportedly won’t be going on to claim the top prize.
‘That’s What I Was Told’ – The 2026 Men’s King of the Ring Winner Revealed
“Today I was just talking to somebody about the King of the Ring thing. What they said to me was there’s a lot of moving parts, there’s a lot up in the air right now for SummerSlam for whatever reason and I’m not sure why. What they told me was right now, the plan is for Seth Rollins is to win the tournament and face Roman Reigns. So, that’s what I was told.”
WWE has long wanted to run a major singles bout between Reigns and Rollins, even planting seeds for the contest during Roman’s loss to Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 40.
The match was initially pencilled in to headline WrestleMania 42 earlier this month. However, plans were forced to be changed after Seth suffered an injury late last year and was unavailable for much of the build-up to ‘Mania. As a result, Reigns squared off with CM Punk and Rollins clashed with Gunther.
Rollins is set to meet Je’Von Evans, Talla Tonga and Ricky Saints in his first-round match. Unless WWE has a huge change of heart, expect to see ‘The Visionary’ coming out on top and playing a big role at SummerSlam.
The only other Superstar seemingly considered for the crown was Oba Femi, although it now seems likely that the Nigerian powerhouse will instead complete his trilogy with Brock Lesnar at the ‘Biggest Part of the Summer’. WWE does have plans for a Reigns vs Femi match, but this will be saved for a future major event.
