‘I Went to the Hospital Conor McGregor Was Spotted at 4 Days Before UFC 329
Analyst Wade Plemons has claimed that Conor McGregor did NOT see a knee specialist just days before his UFC 329 TKO defeat to Max Holloway.
McGregor injured his knee while performing a high kick seconds into his main event return to the sport and could not continue, but many people believe he wasn’t 100% fit going into the fight in the first place.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed his knee not looking secure as he approached the Octagon, as he staggered while removing his shoes and opted against putting any weight on it as well.
Following the knee injury, fans began to speculate whether McGregor was injured heading into his bout, and damning footage was posted online which sparked massive speculation.
Conor McGregor Filmed Entering Hospital Days Before UFC 329
He was filmed by the Hollywood Fix walking into Newport Pain Management Clinic four days prior to UFC 329, and it was later reported that a knee specialist works there, leading to mass speculation that the Irishman was already injured and already had a damaged knee heading into the fight.
However, Plemons took to X denying that McGregor was there for a knee injury, tweeting: “I went to this exact location today. The knee specialist, Dr. Kramer’s office, confirmed that he DID NOT see Conor and that he IS NOT a patient of theirs. I checked the other 3 offices there that anyone could go to for ‘knee issues’. None of them had him as a patient.”
Following the visit, Plemons hit back at critics who claimed he was lying because doctors would need to follow HIPA guidelines: “tHaT’s A hIPAa ViOlAtIoN. YoU’rE lYiNg” No, it isn’t and no I’m not lol.”
Conor McGregor’s UFC Return Fails to Deliver
McGregor’s return to the sport was short-lived, and he took to X himself to express his frustrations after his body gave out and claims that he was not carrying an injury going into the fight.
“I was throwing kicks, planted and jumping, all throughout camp as well as backstage before the fight. This came out of nowhere. I am beyond dark here. I can only describe it as hell.”
Before McGregor’s hiatus five years ago, he was arguably the biggest name the sport had ever seen. In 2016, the Irishman became the first fighter to hold two titles simultaneously at different weights and brought the UFC to a mainstream audience.
After his leg break in 2021, McGregor was embroiled in multiple legal issues while also dipping his toe into politics with an abandoned bid for the Irish presidency.
McGregor’s last win came six years ago after a 40-second victory over Donald Cerrone.
While “The Notorious” has insisted that he will return to the UFC once his leg heals, there will be fans questioning whether he can return to the spotlight that he left in 2021.

Maxxine Dupri’s Real-Life Husband Makes Feelings Clear With 3-Word Tweet About Love Story
The latest episode of WWE‘s flagship show, Monday Night Raw, revisited a storyline not too uncommon in the business: The love triangle.
One of the main participants this time around, Maxxine Dupri, has become the centre of attention for her current on-screen partner Austin Theory, of The Vision, and Otis.
While she broke the heart of the lovable 330-pounder, Dupri may have accidentally upset someone close to her in real life due to her work as well. Specifically, long-term partner and husband Kam Hendrix, who himself performs on the NXT and Evolve brands, if his recent post on X is anything to go by.
Maxxine Dupri’s Love Triangle on WWE Raw
The offending incident happened on the 13th of July in the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The segment began with Theory and teammate Bron Breakker entering the ring to bask in the glory of their World Tag Team Championship win over The Street Profits, thanks to an assist from Dupri.
Fellow Vision member Logan Paul was about to formally welcome her into the stable when Otis and Akira Tozawa of Durpi’s former home, Alpha Academy, arrived and wanted an explanation for her actions.
Otis, known for his own love triangle during 2020, between Dolph Ziggler and Mandy Rose, was so desperate to win Dupri back that he pulled the same trick as he did with Mandy, and confessed his feelings for her.
Theory was quick to make him the subject of jokes about his weight and looks, which caused him to swing for, and eventually overpower, the former United States champion. Dupri’s next actions, however, would’ve made Theory’s comments the least of his worries.
The former WWE Women’s Intercontinental champion got between the two and looked to be about to kiss the former Raw Tag Team champion. Otis, as the gentle giant that he is, fell for the trap, with Theory using the distraction to regain his energy and strike him between the legs.
Though there was no need for it, Dupri proceeded to rub salt into the wounds, making clear that Otis was foolish to think that she would want to be with him, before appearing backstage still arm in arm with Theory.
Maxxine Dupri’s Husband Reacts to Raw Segment
Online developments following the segment have gone beyond those taking part in the angle, as Kam Hendrix (Anthony Luke), the real-life husband of Dupri (Sydney Luke), took to X to voice his anger at what took place in Texas.
The NXT and Evolve Superstar posted a blunt three-word statement on the platform, leaving almost no room for interpretation about the segment.
It was unclear who the comments were directed at, whether it was at those in the ring at the time, or the WWE themselves, though, the latter is unlikely because of the risk of upsetting his employers.
It needs to be said that there is a chance that, given the entertainment nature of the wrestling business, the post could be part of upholding kayfabe and part of the ongoing storyline. However, whether it is or not, there would possibly be, understandably, a subconscious uncomfortable feeling from a partner’s perspective when watching something like what happened on the night.

Man Utd ‘Love’ Bournemouth Midfielder Alex Scott
Manchester United are in the market for a new midfielder in the summer transfer window, despite signing Andrey Santos, while also closing in on Youri Tielemans.
United’s priority throughout the whole summer has been to strengthen their options in the middle of the park.
Santos was the first midfield signing for the Red Devils after a deal for Atalanta’s Ederson fell through.
The Brazilian was confirmed as a new addition on Monday, while they also appear to be closing in on another new addition in the middle of the park.
David Ornstein reported that Manchester United were in advanced talks to sign the Aston Villa midfielder, who has a £35 million release clause in his contract.
The Belgian international looks set to be United’s next signing, but their midfield additions don’t appear to be stopping there.
Man Utd targeting another midfielder
According to reliable reporter David Ornstein speaking on The Athletic FC podcast, United now have a clear vision of what they want in midfield.
The Red Devils are looking to add somebody with legs in the middle of the park after signing Santos and the impending Tielemans.
“I’d imagine, looking at the profile of what they’ve got now, which is Kobbie Mainoo, Andrey Santos and impending Youri Tielemans, they will want somebody with legs. Someone who can really cover ground and provide a bit of complementary qualities to what those players bring to the party, which is ball-playing and control. They need someone that can run, and they will be well aware of that. So it will be fascinating to see which direction they go in.”
Ornstein also confirms that Bournemouth midfielder Scott, described as ‘special’ by Bournemouth team-mate Lewis Cook, is someone United ‘love’, but Bournemouth insist he is not for sale in the summer transfer window.

United need more in midfield
It’s no surprise that United are in the market for another midfielder with Casemiro leaving the club in the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils have also lost Manuel Ugarte for a lengthy period of time, leaving them two midfielders short heading into the new season.
United could cope with just two midfield additions, but with Champions League football on the horizon, it’s understandable that they want a bigger and more competitive squad.
As Ornstein mentioned, they could do with adding a ball-winning runner in the middle of the park to complement their other new additions in midfield so far this summer.

Why Mexico and Argentina’s Friendly Ahead of the 2026 World Cup Was Cancelled
Argentina are having a successful World Cup. While they haven’t been at their very best, they’ve done enough to progress to the semi-finals of the competition.
Lionel Scaloni’s side won all three of their group matches as they qualified for the knockout rounds in style. They have since beaten Cape Verde, Egypt and Switzerland to reach the last four of the competition, where they will face England.
However, their campaign has been overshadowed by several off-field controversies. Last week, reports emerged claiming that the FBI were investigating the Argentine FA over possible money laundering.
Hundreds of millions of dollars, estimated at around $300 million in total, are believed to have been channelled. The investigation, which is headed by federal prosecutors Patrick Gushue and Christopher Ting, focuses on whether these alleged operations may have resulted in crimes.
Why Argentina and Mexico’s Pre-Tournament Friendly Was Cancelled
Mexico and Argentina were due to play each other in a friendly ahead of the World Cup, with an agreement between the two nations reached.
However, the agreement fell through when Mexico pulled out over eye-opening demands made by the Argentine FA, according to journalist Carlos Ponce de León.
He told Récord, per Marca: “Mexico, while looking for opponents to finalise its preparation ahead of the 2026 World Cup, ended up finding Portugal and Belgium, but it had already made contact with Argentina. There was already an agreement with Argentina to play against the reigning world champions.
“The problem was that from the Argentine Federation, they told the Mexican Federation (FMF): ‘You know what, it’s $6 million dollars for the match.’ It’s crazy. They are the national team that charges the most to play a soccer match, even more expensive than Portugal.
“And they told the FMF: ‘It’s $6 million, but guess what? You deposit one part here, another part here, and another part here.’ In other words, you have to distribute the money among different places.
“The Mexican Federation said: ‘I’ll give you the money and you can distribute it however you want.’ The response was: ‘No, we need your help with this, etc.’ That’s when the warning signs appeared, and the FMF said: ‘We are not going to get involved in problems.’”
Mexico played a total of eight warm-up matches in the six months leading up to the World. Cup. They faced Panama, Bolivia, Iceland, Portugal, Belgium, Ghana, Australia and Serbia.

Lionel Scaloni Speaks Out Ahead of England Clash
Argentina will play England for a place in the final on Wednesday, July 15. Speaking ahead of the match, Argentina manager Scaloni said:
“What this team has achieved is historic, even though we could have played better. It’s historic to be in a semi-final again. It’s a privileged space in football, not an easy feat. We’re happy and excited now, and we will try to make it to the end with every last drop of sweat.”
Scaloni also played down the rivalry between the two nations. He said: “It’s a football match, ok? The message is this is a football game. That is what I can say. Let’s not look for anything else. It’s a football match.
“We are going to play a football match against a great national team, which has a great manager [Thomas Tuchel], whom I appreciate and admire a lot. And it’s a football match. There is nothing more to it than that.”
The victor will face Spain or France in the World Cup final on Sunday, July 19.
