Dana White’s Bizarre Comment To Nina Drama at Zuffa Boxing Event
Dana White made a bizarre claim about ring card girls during a live stream with Nina Drama at Zuffa Boxing 10.
Zuffa Boxing set up shop in the Republic of Ireland for their latest event, which saw Aaron McKenna beat Etinosa Oliha to claim the IBF middleweight world title.
Callum Walsh, who has been working with White for the past four years, outpointed Tyler Denny in the co-main event at the 3Arena in Dublin to improve his professional boxing record to 17-0.
WWE president and TKO chief Nick Khan joined White in Dublin, not to mention Nina Drama, who had a chat with the UFC boss.
And during Saturday’s event, White made a questionable claim to Nina about ring card girls that quickly went viral.
Dana White Goes Viral After Making Ring Card Girls Claim
White was asked about the lack of ring card girls at Zuffa Boxing 10. White’s boxing promotion has previously used UFC Octagon girls Chrissy Blair and Red Dela Cruz for their shows.
But there were no signs of either in Dublin on Saturday, prompting Nina to question White.
She asked: “Where are the ring card girls?”
White pulled a face before responding: “Don’t even get me started,” later adding: “The UK won’t use ring card girls unless you have ring card boys.”
Nina immediately put her mic down in utter disbelief when she heard White’s answer, with the UFC president and CEO doing the same.
Needless to say, the conversation between White and Nina emerged on social media and quickly went viral, garnering millions of views across different MMA aggregators on X.
Is Ring Card Boys a Thing?
Well, for starters, Zuffa Boxing 10 took place in the Republic of Ireland, which is not part of the UK. The Boxing Union of Ireland sanctioned the event, not the British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC).
There is also no such rule under the BBBofC.
Besides, the 3Arena hosted another boxing event last weekend as Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions put on a card headlined by Pierce O’Leary vs Mark Chamberlain.
And there were ring card girls used that night, and they are regularly employed around the UK.
White was unable to follow up on his ring card girls claim following Zuffa Boxing 10 because he left midway through the main-event between McKenna and Oliha, leaving another official to field questions during the post-fight press conference.
Had White been present during the Zuffa Boxing 10 post-fight press conference, he likely would have been asked about his ring card girls claim given it went viral online.
Zuffa Boxing, meanwhile, returns to the UK on September 26. Johnny Fisher, who joined the roster from Matchroom Boxing, is set to headline the Zuffa Boxing 11 card at the Copper Box Arena.

Crystal Palace Set to Beat Nottingham Forest to ‘Explosive’ Winger
Crystal Palace are reportedly set to beat Oliver Glasner’s Nottingham Forest to the signing of Union Saint-Gilloise winger Anan Khalaili.
The Eagles headed into this summer’s transfer window with a new manager at the helm following Glasner’s departure at the end of last season. Steve Parish and his board turned to Pierre Sage, whose stock had grown in French football after an impressive reign at Lens.
There hasn’t been much transfer activity at Selhurst Park despite the change in manager, with Oscar Mingueza and Takehiro Tomiyasu joining as free agents. They have reportedly agreed on a £11m deal to sign Real Salt Lake winger Zavier Gogo, who is set to undergo a medical.
Khalaili Set to Join Crystal Palace
Palace are starting to make moves though, and Israeli outlet ONE_CO_IL (via journalist Raz Amir) reports that Palace are set to sign Khalaili, who has had several Premier League clubs chasing his signature. The pacey winger was set to join Inter Milan earlier this summer for €28 million (£17m) but failed a medical with the Serie A giants, who pulled the plug.
With less strict rules regarding a player’s fitness and medical assessments in place in England, Khalaili looks to be headed to Selhurst Park. He has been on Forest’s radar, but Glasner appears set to miss out on the player to his former employers.
Bournemouth and Newcastle United have also been linked with the 21-year-old, who has impressed in the Belgian Pro League. He particularly caught the eye during Union Saint-Gilloise’s Champions League campaign last season and scouts talking up his pacey profile:
“The Israeli international is well suited to this position thanks to his pace which has marked him out as one of the quickest in the Champions League. Scouts in France and Holland are now taking note of Khalaili. There are plenty in Israeli media claiming Khalaili could be the international face of Israeli football.”

While there’s no mention of a fee, you’d expect a deal to cost in the same region as the money Inter had agreed to pay for the player until he failed a medical. Should a deal be finalised in the coming days, he could make his debut in Palace’s season-opening clash with Everton on August 22nd.
Palace Could Land a Third Wide Man
Palace appear keen to bolster Sage’s wide attacking options and Khalaili might not be the only winger to arrive in South London. The club are reportedly working on a swap deal with Everton which would see Dwight McNeil arrive in exchange for Brennan Johnson.
McNeil had been on the Eagles’ radar in January but missed out on a move which led to frustration. It appears Johnson’s time is already up despite only arriving at Selhurst Park in the winter transfer window for a hefty £35m.
Crystal Palace transfer targets
- Anan Khalaili – Israeli winger headed to Palace
- Zazier Gozo – £11m deal agreed
- Dwight McNeil – Swap with Brennan Johnson on
- Lamine Camara – ‘Offer made’ for Monaco midfielder
There will be question marks over where Khalaili, dubbed “explosive”, fits into Sage’s team given he’s a right-winger by trade but can be deployed as a right wing-back. He might be used rotationally and offer backup to Ismaila Sarr and Daniel Munoz on the right.
Amir suggested that Munoz might be moved into central defence or potentially head for the exit door. He noted Chelsea and Inter as clubs potentially interested in the Colombian who has been superb throughout the years.

29 All-Time Highest Goalscorers in Europe’s Top Five Leagues
The 29 all-time highest goalscorers across Europe’s top five leagues have been revealed, with players from La Liga, Serie A, the Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and the Premier League going head-to-head for over a century for a place among the greatest domestic marksmen in football history.
Unsurprisingly, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo dominate the standings, but the gap between the two icons at the top is far closer than many would expect, with just one goal separating them. Both superstars have every right to believe they belong in the conversation as the greatest players the beautiful game has ever produced.
Elsewhere, the ranking throws up plenty of surprising inclusions and omissions, with some legendary names missing out while others have earned their place among the elite. England’s all-time top goalscorer, Harry Kane, also features prominently among Europe’s most prolific marksmen.
29-21
Propping up the rest of the rankings is Edin Dzeko, whose spells with Manchester City, Roma and Inter Milan helped him reach 223 goals – just two fewer than Swedish icon Gunnar Nordahl and four short of Alfredo Di Stefano’s tally. The Real Madrid legend scored all but 11 of his 227 goals for the club, including in three Champions League finals, cementing his reputation as one of football’s greatest big-game players.
Mohamed Salah also features in 26th, while Thierry Henry’s superior tally may be enough to suggest his status as the Premier League’s greatest-ever player remains safe for now. Gary Lineker once named Hugo Sanchez as the best goalscorer he played alongside, and the Mexican icon sits 24th.
Gonzalo Higuain and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang occupy the next spots, despite their reputations taking a hit after difficult spells at Chelsea. However, both had previously enjoyed prolific periods elsewhere. Luis Suarez rounds out this section, with his roles in Liverpool’s SAS and Barcelona’s MSN attacks helping him remain one of the most feared forwards of his generation.

Kylian Mbappe, despite being just 27 years old, is already level with the aforementioned Suarez on 247 goals. The Frenchman is arguably only just entering his prime, meaning he still has plenty of time to climb into the top 10. He needs just three more goals to match Francesco Totti’s tally of 250, with the Roma hero widely regarded as one of the greatest one-club players in football history.
Telmo Zarra may not be a name familiar to many modern football fans, but his 15-year spell with Athletic Bilbao between 1940 and 1955 saw him score at an extraordinary rate, plundering 252 goals in just 277 appearances. However, his Spanish successor Raul remains far more recognisable, despite needing 616 games to score just four more goals than Zarra.
A revered figure at Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Manchester City, Sergio Aguero ranks 16th on the list, while Premier League all-time top scorer Alan Shearer sits 15th with 260 goals. Edinson Cavani (267), Klaus Fischer (268) and Silvio Piola (274) follow closely behind, while 2022 Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema narrowly misses out on a place in the top 10.

With 299 goals, Delio Onnis is the all-time top goalscorer in the history of Ligue 1 in France, and was the league’s top scorer on five occasions. He comes in at 10th, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Dixie Dean just ahead of the Argentine.
Harry Kane is seventh, but after recording one of the highest-scoring seasons in football history with his incredible 2025/26 campaign, he could easily find himself among the top five within the next season or two. Steve Bloomer’s tally of 314 is within touching distance, but a similarly-impressive season is needed to surpass Jimmy Greaves (357) and Gerd Muller (365).
In third place, unable to upset the Apple Cart, is Robert Lewandowski – who can still feel wronged by the fact he was denied a Ballon d’Or during the peak of his career. And, of course, the top two are Messi and Ronaldo, with the latter just one goal below the 2022 World Cup winner – despite the Real Madrid legend boasting the title of football’s all-time top goalscorer.

Man Utd Give Marcus Rashford New Squad Number
Manchester United have given Marcus Rashford a new squad number, as Fabrizio Romano provides an update on his future.
Rashford spent last season on loan at Barcelona, while he has also spent time at fellow Premier League side Aston Villa.
The England international had fallen out of favour at Old Trafford, but he’s recently returned for pre-season, with there being no guarantees over an exit this summer.
United have a valuable asset on their hands. Although he had fallen out of favour, there is a completely new set of staff at Old Trafford since his last spell.
The Red Devils may be open to allowing him to depart, but they now appear happy to reintegrate him into the squad if a sale doesn’t occur.
Man Utd: Rashford update
Reporting on X, Italian journalist Romano has provided an update on the future of Rashford at Manchester United.
The reliable reporter has confirmed that United have given him a new squad number as a message to trust him and include him as part of the team.
Rashford is set to wear number 14 at United, and he could now stay at the club unless a top European club arrives with a big offer on the table.
Unless a big offer arrives from a club outside of England, we might see Rashford remaining at Old Trafford for the 26/27 season.

United could struggle to sell Rashford
Rashford has endured an inconsistent few years in his career, so it would be no surprise if United struggled to offload him in the summer transfer window.

It’s also well documented that Rashford is on mega-money wages at United, so finding a club that is able to afford him is going to be difficult.
Reintegrating him under a new manager would make a lot of sense, especially if they are unable to get a decent offer.
We’re yet to see if Michael Carrick can get the best out of Rashford, and there’s every chance that they could work well together heading into the new season.
