Speaking at a press conference, aerials specialist Lillis admitted he is ‘heartbroken’ by events in his home country. The 27-year-old stated:
“I think that as a country, we need to focus on respecting everybody’s rights and making sure that we’re treating our citizens as well as anybody with love and respect.
“I hope that when people look at athletes competing in the Olympics, they realise that’s the America that we’re trying to represent. I love the USA and I think I would never want to represent a different country in the Olympics. Boxer and celebrity Jake Paul shared his displeasure at seeing the athletes speak out against the USA. Responding to the viral video of the two men giving their thoughts, ‘The Problem Child’ blasted:
“Wow pls shut the f*** up. From all true Americans.
