Cast, Plot and Streaming Release Date
Nearly 20 years after The Devil Wears Prada became one of fashion’s most beloved films, Miranda Priestly and the Runway team are back. The Devil Wears Prada 2 reunites the original cast for a fresh chapter that explores how the fashion and media industries have changed in the digital age.
Directed by David Frankel and written by Aline Brosh McKenna, the sequel brings back Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci, while introducing several new faces to the franchise.
The story picks up years after Andy Sachs walked away from Runway magazine, choosing a different path over a career under Miranda Priestly. This time, however, circumstances lead her back into the fashion world.
According to Variety, Miranda is now facing the decline of traditional print publishing in 2026 and must turn to Emily Charlton—who has become a powerful executive in luxury advertising—for financial support. Andy also returns to Runway at a new stage in both her personal and professional life, setting the stage for another complex relationship with her former boss.
Anne Hathaway revealed that the sequel offers much more than a nostalgic reunion.
Speaking during an interview with TODAY, the actress praised writer Aline Brosh McKenna for giving the characters a meaningful new direction.
“Aline McKenna cracked it, and she found a reason why we should make it beyond just nostalgia, beyond just giving people what they want. She found something new and more to say with these characters,” Hathaway said.
One of the film’s biggest themes is the transformation of journalism and fashion media. The glamorous magazine industry that once defined Runway has changed dramatically, and the sequel reflects those real-world challenges.
Stanley Tucci explained that journalism, magazines, artificial intelligence, and technology have reshaped the industry, making the story particularly relevant today.
Meryl Streep also shared that the characters are navigating an uncertain world while trying to stay true to themselves.
“Everybody in their lives has had to surf the new reality and figure out how to survive, how to keep their scruples intact, how to keep their conscience awake and alive,” she said.
Alongside the returning stars, The Devil Wears Prada 2 welcomes Kenneth Branagh, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak, and Simone Ashley, bringing new rivalries and fresh dynamics to Miranda Priestly’s world.

If you’re in Nigeria, Netflix’s catalog changes frequently, so availability can vary. As of now, it is generally not available on Netflix Nigeria and is more commonly found on Disney+.

Kie Kie Owns Her Birthday in a Stunning Burgundy Velvet Masterpiece and We’re Obsessed
Kie Kie has never been afraid of making a statement, and for her birthday, she chose a look that speaks volumes without saying a word. Wrapped in deep burgundy velvet, she embraces a style that feels both powerful and elegant. The beauty of the outfit lies in its balance. The sharp shoulders bring strength, while the plunging neckline and fitted waist add softness and femininity. Together, they create a shape that feels modern, confident, and effortlessly stylish.
The skirt is where the look truly comes alive. Layers of structured fabric flow into a dramatic design, while the sheer details at the hem add depth and movement. It transforms the outfit from a beautiful gown into a true fashion moment, proving that style can be both creative and eye-catching.

Then comes the hat. Wide, bold, and impossible to ignore, it instantly takes the entire look to another level. Rather than acting as a simple accessory, it becomes a key part of the outfit, adding mystery, drama, and a runway-worthy finish.
The matching styling deserves recognition too. By keeping everything within the same burgundy colour family, from the dress to the boots, the look feels polished and intentional. Nothing takes attention away from the overall vision. Every detail plays its part perfectly.
For a birthday celebration, many would choose sparkle. Kie Kie chose rich fabric, strong design, and undeniable presence instead. The result is a look that feels timeless, creative, and worthy of every bit of attention it is receiving.

10 Chic Corporate Looks That Make Getting Dressed for Work Feel Effortless This Week
Corporate dressing is no longer just about looking put together. It is becoming more expressive, more intentional, and more personal. Some of these looks lean towards a softer approach, while others go fully sharp and structured. Together, they show how wide modern workwear has become, with more room for style without losing polish.
One of the looks leans towards a pinstripe shirt styled with an uneven hemline. It is paired with wide-leg trousers and a small structured bag, creating a fresh take on a familiar office combination. The hemline brings movement into an otherwise classic pairing, making the outfit feel current without doing too much.
Another look leans towards a crisp white double-breasted suit styled with a bold red bag and matching pointed heels. The contrast is what makes it stand out. The base is clean and minimal, while the accessories bring in strong color and direction. It is a reminder that simple tailoring becomes powerful when styling choices are intentional.
There is also a look that leans towards a longline blazer layered over a brown tailored set. A small heart brooch sits on the lapel, adding a softer detail to an otherwise structured outfit. It is subtle, but it shifts the entire mood of the look and makes it feel more personal.
Across these styles, the focus is on clean tailoring, easy structure, and thoughtful finishing touches. Some lean bold, some lean minimal, but all of them show that corporate chic is not one fixed formula.
