Man Utd Only Club Who Can Afford Vini Jr, Real Madrid Exit on Cards
Manchester United are currently in the midst of a major squad rebuild after securing their return to the Champions League, and they are on the lookout for market opportunities.
The Red Devils have already signed Andrey Santos from Chelsea for £50m, while they triggered the £35m release clause in Youri Tielemans’ contract to seal a surprise swoop for the Belgium international. Karl Darlow has also arrived on a free transfer after his Leeds contract expired.
The club are continuing to look at options to strengthen the squad, with a forward, left-back and another midfielder seen as ideal additions in the summer transfer window, and it has now emerged that they could be the only horse in a potential race to sign one of the top stars in the world.
Man Utd Only Club Who Can Sign Vini Jr
According to journalist Romain Molina, via UtdReport, the future of Vinicius Jr at Real Madrid is far from secure, as he enters the final 12 months of his contract at the Bernabeu.
The Brazil superstar, who has been described as ‘the best player in the world’, is yet to find an agreement with the Spanish giants over a new contract, and it’s reported that he has been told by the club’s board that he must sign a new contract or be sold this summer, as they will not risk losing him for nothing next year.
However, Molina reports that the finances behind any potential transfer means that Manchester United would be the only club capable of pulling off a surprise swoop to take him out of Spain.
The signing bonus, transfer fee, salary and commissions are all considered to be key factors for a potential move, but United have enough cash that they would be able to put together a package nobody else can.
United have been linked with a move for the winger, as they look to strengthen that position in this window, but it’s unclear if they would be willing to go all-in to get a deal done, even though they would be able to.

Man Utd Move for Vini Jr Would Be Gamechanging
Man Utd need a left-winger, and there are very few options, if any, better than Vinicius Jr when he is on the top of his game.
The Brazil star has regularly been among the top performers for Real Madrid in recent seasons, but he has been overshadowed since the arrival of Kylian Mbappe at the Bernabeu, and the Spanish side are not looking to put him above or even on a par with the Frenchman.
That has led to some unease behind-the-scenes, and Man Utd could pounce on that uncertainty to bring him to the Premier League. But he also brings a lot of commitment financially, some question marks over his attitude, and whether he would fit into Carrick’s plans and style.
There’s no doubting his ability, and if United were to pull off a deal they would have a superstar of the highest order, capable of winning them games on his own.

Tottenham Star ‘Expected To Leave’ Alongside Romero
Tottenham Hotspur have been extremely active in the summer transfer window already, with six new players arriving in north London to revolutionise Roberto De Zerbi‘s squad.
The Italian head coach has bolstered his goalkeeping options with the free transfer of Martin Dubravka, the defence with Jan Paul van Hecke, Marcos Senesi and Andy Robertson and the midfield with Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes.
And more are set to follow, with De Zerbi now turning his attentions to the forward line, with the likes of Savinho, Rafael Leao and Eli Kroupi Junior all linked with move to N17.
Seven players have already departed Tottenham
However, a major overhaul of the playing squad requires departures too and Yves Bissouma, Alejo Veliz, Alfie Devine, Radu Dragusin, Luka Vuskovic, Joao Palhinha (end of loan) and Randal Kolo Muani (end of loan) have all gone from last season’s squad.
Vuskovic was the big sale from those, with Brighton agreeing a £46million deal for the teenage defender who had never played a game for Tottenham, but had huge potential to be a star.
Now, Tottenham look set to say goodbye to another highly-rated young player in Lucas Bergvall.
The Swede was signed for just £8.5million from Djurgardens two years ago and enjoyed a clean sweep of the club’s player of the season awards in his first season in England in 2024/25, shining in a stuttering Spurs side.

Tottenham finished 17th in the Premier League, but lifted the UEFA Europa League trophy, with Bergvall showing more senior stars how it’s done in a difficult campaign.
With three different managers at the helm during 2025/26, Bergvall, previously described as “unstoppable” by former Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, struggled to tie down a regular place in the starting lineup and is now looking to move on in search of more game time, particularly after seeing the club splash out £185million on two players in his position in Tonali and Fernandes.
Newcastle enter race to sign Lucas Bergvall
Speaking on his YouTube channel, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano delivered an update on Bergvall’s future. Nottingham Forest have already seen a £38million bid rejected, while Newcastle have now entered the race and also had a £46million offer turned down.
Romano said: “Lucas Bergvall from Tottenham is expected to leave the club this summer. Bergvall has told Tottenham he wants to play on a regular basis, he’s ready to take a different step and leaving Tottenham this summer is something he has to do, according to the player, because he wants to play and at Tottenham, the feeling of the boy is that after signing Mateus Fernandes, Sandro Tonali and they’re not going to play European football, he does not want to spend the season on the bench or playing ten minutes every two weeks.
“So for Bergvall, there’s been a bid from Nottingham Forest, talks with Newcastle and both clubs are working for Lucas Bergvall, both clubs are in contact.
“There is a conversation ongoing with both clubs, the situation with Lucas Bergvall is one to watch.”
There are expected to be more departures from Spurs, alongside Bergvall, with Cristian Romero also expected to leave the club. Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario is also set to leave, while there are question marks over the likes of Richarlison, Pape Matar Sarrnand some of the younger players in north London.

Arsenal Make Contact to Sign Yan Diomande as Rogers Deal Collapses
Arsenal have made contact to hijack Paris Saint-Germain’s deal to sign Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig after their move for Morgan Rogers was hijacked by Chelsea, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Arsenal have already agreed a £34m fee with Club Brugge to sign winger Christos Tzolis to replace Besiktas-bound Leandro Trossard, but Mikel Arteta still wanted to land a big-money left-sided attacker in addition to the prolific Greece international.
The Gunners had identified Aston Villa and England star Morgan Rogers as their top target for the position, and they were expected to ramp up their interest and present a bid to their Premier League rivals after the conclusion of the World Cup, according to GIVEMESPORT sources earlier this week.
However, David Ornstein dropped a bombshell on Saturday evening to say that Chelsea had agreed a £117m deal with Villa for the forward, who will complete a medical on Monday to move to Stamford Bridge.
The journalist also confirmed that the 23-year-old preferred to join the Blues over Arsenal, which will come as a further blow to the club and Arteta as they look to strengthen their squad to retain the Premier League title and to try and go one step further in the Champions League.
Romano: Arsenal Make Checks on Yan Diomande
RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande had been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League earlier this summer, with Liverpool identifying him as their preferred replacement for Mohamed Salah after his summer exit.
However, it emerged that the 19-year-old preferred to join Paris Saint-Germain instead, and the Champions League holders continue to work on a deal to bring the teenage sensation to the Parc des Princes.
Now, Romano has revealed that Arsenal have made checks on the Ivory Coast international after a deal for Rogers slipped away.
Speaking on his YouTube channel on Saturday night, the Italian journalist said:
“Arsenal over the last few days have made some checks with the agents of Yan Diomande from Red Bull Leipzig to understand if there was still a chance to enter the deal.
“But don’t forget it. Diomande has an agreement on personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain and Paris Saint-Germain are in negotiations with Leipzig. But for example, Arsenal made some calls to understand the situation of Diomande, just to give you context of what happened over recent days.”

Arsenal Blow Liverpool Away in Julian Alvarez Battle
If Arsenal still want to land a statement, big-money signing this summer, then they could turn their attentions to Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez.
The Argentina international has already been described as a ‘dream’ target for the Gunners this summer, and he could move further into the picture after the collapse of a move for Rogers.
Alvarez’s future is complicated however, with Real Madrid and Barcelona having huge bids rejected for the 26-year-old, and Atletico making it clear that the player is not for sale.
Nevertheless, Arsenal are said to have blown Premier League rivals Liverpool away in the race to bring the former Manchester City star back to the English top flight, and now they must decide if they are going to make a bid for his services.

Man Utd’s Perfect Summer Transfer Window With Three More Signings
For Manchester United, this summer’s transfer window represents a chance to capitalise on their best season for years.
After breaking back into the Champions League, Michael Carrick will want to consolidate last year’s work and building the best squad possible will go a long way in doing that.
Some deals are already over the line, but there are still positions and players to target as they balance out a squad that is needing reinforcement to cope with a return to Europe and new goals.
With that in mind, we’ve decided to chart out what the perfect summer transfer window could look like for the Red Devils. Take it with a grain of salt, of course, but everyone included has at least some reputable links rooting in some kind of reality.
Perfect signings to complete Man Utd’s squad
Let’s review the business thus far. Arriving to bolster their midfield is the 29-year-old Youri Tielemans, who arrives ready to make an instant impact after winning the Europa League at Aston Villa.Bringing versatility and youth is Chelsea’s Andrey Santos, who has proven he can play in any one of the midfield roles from his time in London and in Ligue 1 with Strasbourg. Whilst Karl Darlow was added for keeper depth, but who else are they targeting?Despite two midfield additions, fans still believe they require a more destructive, defensive force in midfield. Elliot Anderson and Mateus Fernandes were targeted, but both opted for moves elsewhere and other names such as Alex Scott, Felix Nmecha, Carlos Baleba and Sander Berge have all been considered. However, there are two names that stand out above the rest. Roma’s Manu Kone and Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga are both young and experienced options to bolster their midfield and both would cost far less than the other names mentioned. Both are likely to exit and United should not miss out; our pick would be Camavinga and United have already tried to ignite a move.In defence, a left-back has been touted. Luke Shaw played every single league game last season, but the increased workload will surely trigger injury concerns. Newcastle United’s Lewis Hall has been linked and with multiple key figures exiting already this summer, the ex-Chelsea defender could well be targeted. His energy, work rate and attacking qualities are reminiscent of a younger Shaw, and it would make for a perfect replacement, albeit costly.Plus, a left-sided attacker is likely required if Rashford is to exit. One name linked is West Ham’s Crysencio Summerville and United have had exploratory talks with the Dutch forward. United have thrown their hat in the ring for RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande, but they face stiff and costly competition. If they want to make a big splash, Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola has been linked with a £128million-plus deal away to eye regular football. It would be an exciting statement deal given his experience, achievements and how he looks ready to take that next step in his development.

The transfer exits Man Utd need to sanction
As it stands, United have already recouped some cash and more could be on the way. Napoli decided to makeRasmus Hojlund’s loan move permanent and agreed a £43million deal. Whilst it is a loss on their original investment, it was the best move for both parties.
Plus, the trio ofCasemiro,Jadon Sancho andTyrell Malacia all running down their contracts have freed up some wage space. There’s also the sell-on clause money that is likely to come fromMason Greenwood’s move to Fenerbache from Marseille, which could equate to somewhere around £10million to £15million profit. In addition,Altay Bayindiris set to depart too.
The big question is where doesMarcus Rashford go? Now 28, his deal doesn’t expire for another two years and Barcelona were offered a deal to sign him for around £35million but decided to complete a deal twice as expensive for Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon.
Rashford’s last game for United was in December 2024 and while the club are keen to offload his sizable wages, there is a lack of suitors which has resulted in back-to-back loan spells at Aston Villa and Barcelona. He will begin pre-season at United, but the ideal solution is a sale to free up more funds.
Ideally, another exit forJoshua Zirkzee. A back-up at best under Carrick, nine goals in 75 games is a poor return and, at 25 with three years left on his deal, a sale makes sense. But recouping the £36.5million fee paid could be difficult.
AfterEderson’s failed move from Atalanta,Mason Mount is reportedly getting another chance that could help save his United career, especially withManuel Ugarte now out for a lengthy spell. However, the Uruguayan may have been set for an exit if he didn’t suffer a knee injury at the World Cup.
