Afrobeats superstar, Davido, has vowed never to apologise to Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State for publishing his West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE, result.

Davido made the vow on Tuesday when he featured in an interview on News Central Television.

DAILY POST recalls that the singer had blasted Okpebholo for mocking his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, over his frequent dancing at public events.

Davido reacted by sharing Okpebholo’s WASSCE result on his Instagram story, a move many social media users interpreted as a response to the governor’s remarks.

When asked if he would apologise to the Edo governor, the singer said, “I am not going to apologize to Monday Okpebholo. I posted his WAEC results for the people of Edo State to see who is governing them.

“The road to your Government House is not constructed. We will visit him when it is time for his re-election.”
