2027: NDC presenting itself as alternative for dissatisfied Nigerians – Party chair, Zuwoghe
The National Chairman of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, Cleopas Zuwoghe, says the party is presenting itself as an alternative for dissatisfied Nigerians.
Zuwoghe made the remark on Saturday at the party’s Special Convention currently taking place in Abuja.
He called on Nigerian citizens to participate in the democratic process and support the vision the NDC believes in.
DAILY POST reports that the party has just concluded its primary election across the country and is about to declare its presidential candidate for next year’s general election.
“The NDC is presenting itself as an alternative for Nigerians dissatisfied with current conditions.
“We cannot claim to be perfect, but we know that we are sincere in doing the right thing we can imagine.
“We crave your indulgence, understanding, and compliance. Today, we have come to perform a very simple but vital assignment.
“I want to appeal to Nigerians. We have all cried and expressed disappointment together because all the basic necessities of life have been denied to us as citizens.
“Come and join us to participate in the democratic process and support the vision we believe in,” he said.
