Why Liverpool ‘Edited’ Rio Ngumoha Out of Training Ground Footage
Rio Ngumoha is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about young players in world football after impressive displays for Liverpool during the 2025-26 season.
The 17-year-old also recently made his debut for England’s senior team in a pre-World Cup friendly against New Zealand. Ngumoha is a tricky left-winger who rose through Chelsea‘s youth ranks before heading to Liverpool. The Blues were left furious over his departure as they lost one of their most celebrated teenage talents to an arch-rival.
The English attacker, who forced his way into Arne Slot’s plans at the end of the season with lightning displays, is expected to be given more minutes next season under Andoni Iraola, but his talent was spotted long before he ever stepped onto the Anfield turf.
Liverpool Deleted and Edited Clips of Eye-Catching Ngumoha
Ngumoha, when he was just 16, had been so impressive in training against Liverpool’s first-team stars that his superb dribbling abilities caused them problems. The Reds were trying to calm the hype surrounding the former Chelsea academy starlet by editing footage of him in training, per Anfield Watch.
The report noted: ‘Ngumoha regularly terrorises first team players in training and the club has had to delete and edit out footage of his performances from the Inside Training video series in a bid to contain the hype surrounding the 16-year-old.’
This speaks volumes about how exciting a talent Ngumoha already was in late 2024 as the club looked to manage the expectations of the winger. The pressure that comes with the spotlight of English football can either make or break a footballer’s career early on, so it makes sense to protect him on that front – while they also didn’t want to attract attention from rival teams who could try and swoop in and steal the youngster (much like they did from Chelsea).
John Terry, who worked closely with Ngumoha as part of the coaching setup at Chelsea’s academy, is well aware of just how much potential the teenager has. He gave a glowing verdict amid his move to Anfield:
“This boy is and will be a top top player.”
Arne Slot Hinted at Believing in Youth Amid Ngumoha’s Rise
Liverpool has a rich history of blending youth with world-class talent, which was the case during Klopp’s reign at Anfield. The German turned to the likes of Jayden Danns, Bobby Clark and James McConnell, all teenagers who were on the pitch in a 1-0 win over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final. They were known as ‘Klopp’s Kids’, as the club’s beloved former coach placed his faith in the academy.
There were question marks regarding Slot doing so when he replaced Klopp at the helm, but he initially suggested he’d be open-minded with affording the youth game time. He said (via This is Anfield):
This club will always bring good youngsters. It’s always a challenge to find the right moment, either to play them or if they’ve played quite a lot of minutes they want to make the next step in their career.
While he suggested youth would be given a chance, Slot appeared to leave it too long before trusting the ex-Chelsea youngster. Ngumoha started just five games in a poor campaign for the Reds, but still managed to be the highlight in each of them. Had the manager unleashed him sooner, he may have had a better chance at keeping his job.

Nurse Reveals Heartbreaking Details of WWE Legend’s Final Hours
Newly released police documents have laid bare the final moments of WWE icon Hulk Hogan, with home health care workers revealing the wrestling star was in ‘rough’ shape in the days leading up to his death. The legendary Superstar passed away last July at the age of 71.
While the news came as a shock to the wrestling world, those in close contact with the real-life Terry Bollea knew the truth about his health struggles.
To the world, he was the indestructible face of Hulkamania and Bollea never wanted that to change. Though he was fighting multiple health issues, ‘The Hulkster’ never spoke publicly about them, preferring that people remember the superhero larger than life, not the frail man whose health was in constant crisis.
The sad reality of the final hours of Hogan’s life were revealed in a comprehensive 72-page investigative brief compiled by the Clearwater Police Department.
Hulk Hogan’s Secret Health Battles Confirmed in New Report
The report noted that Hogan was battling a number of serious health problems, including chronic lymphocytic leukemia and atrial fibrillation. The grappler’s wellbeing had declined to such a point that he was frequently checked in on by a nursing team.
On the final day of his life, nurses observed that the former WWE champion, who had been renowned for his verbal abilities in his prime, was “a little mumbly” when he first woke up.
However, Hogan was able to get up and eat a light breakfast of yoghurt and fresh berries while speaking with his care team. Shortly after the meal, Hulk’s occupational therapist, Justin McCamey, went to check on the Hall of Famer’s vital signs to find that he had stopped breathing.
The quiet of the Clearwater neighbourhood in which Hogan resided was soon broken by the sound of emergency sirens as paramedics went into action responding to a high priority cardiac arrest dispatch. Despite the desperate, aggressive intervention of first responders on scene, standard resuscitation protocols failed. The cultural phenomenon that defined a whole era of professional wrestling was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at a local medical facility.
Nurse Makes Tragic Admission About Hulk Hogan’s Passing
In a particularly sad passage of the report, it was revealed that the care team around Hogan weren’t shocked by his passing.
“He’s in bad shape,” McCamey told a responding officer in the frantic moments after the emergency call. Reflecting the quiet inevitability of the wrestling titan’s declining health in his final months, she stated:
“We knew it was going to be happening.”
Confirming that no foul play was suspected of contributing to Hogan’s passing, investigators confirmed that the Superstar had passed away as a result of natural causes, following a cardiac arrest.
“Following an exhaustive review of the statements, medical records, surveillance footage from within the residence, and a visual inspection of Mr. Bollea’s body, there has been no evidence to indicate the death of Terry Bollea was anything other than natural,” investigators wrote.
The report concluded: “Through the course of the investigation, there has been no evidence to indicate any criminal wrongdoing related to his death.”

Man Utd Ready To Pay £100m to Sign Sandro Tonali
Manchester United are open to spending £100 million on a midfielder this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, with one key star in mind.
It comes as part of a huge midfield rebuild for the Red Devils, as Casemiro’s exit is expected to be joined with a move for Manuel Ugarte, before some potential incoming signings.
Ederson is set to join the club from Atalanta this summer, with terms seemingly agreed for his move, while reports have also claimed that talks are ongoing surrounding a deal for Mateus Fernandes.
That’s not to say Man United may not look at further signings in the market, especially in the central ranks, ahead of their return to the Champions League.
With that in mind, it seems as though one particular target is being eyed up, and a huge price tag won’t be putting the Old Trafford outfit off of making a move.
Man United Want Sandro Tonali
According to the report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Man United are among a whole host of teams showing interest in Newcastle United star Sandro Tonali.
A deal is described as difficult, because the Magpies intend on building their project around the Italian midfielder, and won’t let him go without a fight to keep him.
The 26-year-old has two years remaining on his contract with the club, which means that a deal isn’t totally off the cards, however, but it will require a hefty sum.
A £100 million price tag has been put on Tonali by Newcastle, which would put him among some of the most-expensive transfers in Premier League history.
That said, the report claims that United are not “scared” of the figure that the Magpies have quoted, meaning they could be willing to drop that £100 million fee on the Italian international.
Michael Carrick‘s side aren’t alone in their admiration, however, as rivals Arsenal and Manchester City are also believed to be in the conversation.
It could make for an interesting battle to secure Tonali’s signature, after a few impressive campaigns in the Premier League so far.

Sandro Tonali Brings Quality
If there’s one thing that Tonali would bring Man United this summer, it’s clear quality in the midfield. The midfield maestro is capable of playing as both a number six and as a number eight, offering an ability to start attacks as well as finish them at the other end of the pitch.
While Newcastle struggled for much of the recent Premier League campaign, Tonali was a standout star through much of the season with his silky play.
It’s not only for the Magpies that he has impressed, as he has been praised for his quality in the Italian national team over the past season or so.
Football Italia’s player ratings back in September, after a stunning display against Estonia, described the Newcastle ace as “the best midfielder in the country”.
£80m Star’s Agents Believe He Will Sign For Man Utd This Summer
Manchester United are in the market for more midfielders this summer, with another exciting move potentially on the cards.
With Italy narrowly missing out on the World Cup this summer, there is a clear schedule for clubs to try their hand at convincing Tonali to join.
It remains to be seen whether Man United will make their interest concrete with a bid, but there are other deals that club may look to get over the line first.

Forget Rogers: Arsenal Want Morgan Gibbs-White
After winning the Premier League, Arsenal are now looking to take their squad to the next level with some star-studded quality on the radar for the summer transfer window.
The Gunners are in the market for a number ten, as recent reports have claimed that Morgan Rogers is a transfer target, having shown plenty of quality in his time playing for Aston Villa and the England national team.
Any move could prove costly, however, meaning that Arsenal and Mikel Arteta could look elsewhere in the market for players who can still bring some attacking quality, but at a different price.
With that in mind, the North London club have seemingly shortlisted another Premier League star, with the Sun reporting interest in the playmaker.
Arsenal Shortlist Morgan Gibbs-White
According to the report from the Sun, Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White has emerged as a potential target for Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
It’s claimed that the 26-year-old is viewed as an alternative to Rogers, with there being some admirers over his talent in the backroom team at the Emirates Stadium.
The attacking midfielder was linked with an exit from Nottingham Forest last summer, as he emerged as an option for rivals Tottenham, coming as an alternative to Eberechi Eze after the Gunners swooped to land him.
While the direction of travel indicated that a switch would be on the cards, Gibbs-White instead signed a new contract at the City Ground, extending his stay until 2028.
That led to another impressive season with Nottingham Forest, even with relegation fears creeping into the Premier League campaign, as he became a surprise omission from the England World Cup squad.
With two years remaining on that contract, there is a possibility that Gibbs-White could be on the move this summer, though Forest appear reluctant to allow that to happen.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will put forward a compelling offer or not, as Premier League rivals also consider a switch for the talisman.

Morgan Rogers Vs Morgan Gibbs-White
In Rogers and Gibbs-White, Arsenal have two impressive options who can help break games open more frequently than the team currently does.
Both stars find plenty of goals and assists for their respective teams, finding a way to make the play centre around them to help create and score opportunities.

Gibbs-White is three years older than Rogers, but is arguably playing in a team that is worse, making his statistics for the season all the more impressive.
It’s no surprise that the midfielder has been dubbed as “one of the best players in the Premier League” in the past few seasons because of the importance of his performances.
Arteta Loves Him: Arsenal Ready to Pay £100m to Sign ‘One of the Best CM’s in Europe’
Arsenal could enjoy a strong summer window.
What is important for Arsenal is a mixture of age profile, instinctive quality and the dynamics in the squad. The one who ticks the most boxes will be the one who should be on the club’s radar as a priority.
It remains to be seen which of the two they could formalise interest in, but it’s clear that the Gunners have a plan to improve their playmaking abilities.
