Man Utd Ready to Sign Crysencio Summerville in Bargain £30m Deal

Published

on

Manchester United are now eyeing a bargain £30m move to sign West Ham United winger Crysencio Summerville this summer, although it hinges on one factor, according to the Guardian.

After a quiet start to the summer transfer window, Man United chiefs have sprung into action this week by completing three deals, while U-turning on the agreement they had to sign Brazil international Ederson from Atalanta.

The Red Devils decided after an issue with the midfielder’s medical that they would pull out of a deal, with the club securing the signatures of Chelsea’s Andrey Santos and Aston Villa’s Youri Tielemans for £50m and £35m respectively this week.

Karl Darlow has also moved to Old Trafford as the club’s second-choice goalkeeper, with Andre Onana already re-joining Trabzonspor on loan and Altay Bayindir expected to leave this summer.

United are still looking to bring in a third midfielder to join Santos and Tielemans after Manuel Ugarte suffered a serious knee injury at the 2026 World Cup with Uruguay, with the likes of French duo Manu Kone and Eduardo Camavinga, and Premier League pair Alex Scott and Carlos Baleba, among the names linked.

The Red Devils are also looking to add a left-sided attacker, according to GIVEMESPORT sources, should Marcus Rashford depart the club.

While United have been linked with players like Morgan Rogers, Rafael Leao and Bazoumana Toure this summer, it appears as though Summerville remains a preferred target for the wing.

GIVEMESPORT senior correspondent Ben Jacobs reported at the start of this month that United had opened club-to-club talks over a move for the Netherlands international, who announced himself on the global stage with some impressive performances, goals and assists at the World Cup.

The Guardian report that the Red Devils are ready to make a move for the £30m-rated forward if Rashford leaves, with the England international currently due to report for pre-season training at Carrington after Barcelona decided to sign Anthony Gordon from Newcastle instead.

West Ham are open to selling their ‘unstoppable’ forward following their relegation to the Championship, with United said to view him as the ideal fit for their needs.

Man United Keen to Offload Rashford

While United and Rashford are said to have called a truce ahead of pre-season training with the 28-year-old no closer to securing a move away from Old Trafford, Red Devils chiefs are keen to offload him either permanently or on loan before the September 1 transfer deadline, according to the same report.

Rashford still has two years remaining on his £17.5m-per-year contract, and United are keen to remove him from their wage bill like they did with Casemiro earlier in the summer.

Barcelona are likely to want to do another loan deal if they do decide to bring the Englishman back to the Camp Nou, while the likes of Tottenham Hotspur have been linked in the Premier League.

The suggestion is though that Rashford would prefer another move abroad if he is to leave United again this summer, but with interest currently low it would be no surprise to see him at least start the Premier League season in a red shirt.

Mark Henry Names WWE Superstar He Couldn’t Stand

Published

By

WWE legend Mark Henry is one of the most universally respected performers in modern-day professional wrestling history.

Across a 22-year in-ring career, the former World Heavyweight Champion worked for both WWE and AEW.

During that time, the WWE Hall of Famer shared looker rooms with countless fellow wrestlers.

GIVEMESPORT exclusively spoke to The World’s Strongest Man, via Casino.org, about one Superstar he worked with who he couldn’t stand.

Mark Henry Has ‘Never Said Anything Good’ About One WWE Superstar

Mark Henry "Retires" From The WWE

“Hate is a powerful word, but I did dislike several,” admitted Henry. It’s no secret that I’ve never said anything good about Ahmed Johnson.”

Johnson is most famous for his stint in WWE between 1995 and 1998. He won the Intercontinental Championship in June 1996 and was widely tipped to be a future world champion.

The Pearl River Powerhouse was even set to headline that year’s SummerSlam, before health issues ruled him out of the show. Those same health concerns, combined with backstage issues, led to Johnson leaving WWE altogether in 1998.

Why Henry Disliked His Former WWE Colleague

Henry spent several years working alongside Johnson and it’s clear he didn’t enjoy the experience.

While the pair didn’t have any issues working together in the ring, it was Henry’s experience of Johnson backstage that really upset the Silsby, Texas native.

“I just didn’t think that he was a good person. He lied using my name, and he did some things that if I told them to anybody, they would be very incriminating.”

“But, even in my dislike for him, I’ve still protected him from going to prison, but he just wasn’t a good person.”

Henry didn’t expand on the exact nature of the issues between the pair, but it is obvious that he is still bothered by the way he he was treated.

Following his WWE departure, Johnson would resurface in WCW in 2000, where he immediately entered into a feud with Booker T. Now known as Big T, Johnson and Booker had a pay-per-view match at SuperBrawl 2000.

In a bout for ‘the rights to the letter T’ (yes, seriously), Big T defeated Booker in a short match that received poor reviews. Johnson would leave WCW in June 2000 and only wrestled another six matches in his career.

That Ahmed had such a brief post-WWE run in the ring is likely an indication of how poorly thought of he was by those who worked with him. Henry, meanwhile, is currently signed to a WWE Legends deal and continues to represent the company as an ambassador.

Man Utd Eyeing Move to Sign Midfield Star Alongside Manu Kone

Manchester United are eyeing a move to sign another midfielder alongside Manu Kone this summer, according to Mark Goldbridge.

The Red Devils made upgrading their midfield options a priority this summer, and have already completed deals to sign Andrey Santos from Chelsea and Youri Tielemans from Aston Villa for a combined £85m, while Karl Darlow has arrived on a free transfer to strengthen the goalkeeper department.

But the club are still keen to bring in additional reinforcements for Michael Carrick after Manuel Ugarte’s serious knee injury and Casemiro’s exit, which has seen the club hold talks over a move for AS Roma star Kone.

Kone, who shone for France at the World Cup before their elimination at the semi-final stage to Spain, is expected to leave the Serie A club this summer, and is understood to be available for around £50m.

GMS understands that initial talks have been held between United, the player’s camp, and Roma about a deal to take him to Old Trafford, but he isn’t the only name being discussed.

According to Goldbridge, who is known to have inside information through his YouTube channel, there is another star being targeted, although that player is not Real Madrid star Eduardo Camavinga, despite reports.

“Kone is ongoing and there is one other midfielder United are considering,” he wrote. “Not Camavinga at this stage.”

Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Reds have made enquiries about a move for Camavinga in recent days, while Alex Scott, Carlos Baleba, and Ayyoub Bouaddi have all been linked with a switch to Old Trafford in this window.

Man Utd Keeping Their Business Quiet

While United have been busy in the market this summer, and there are a number of names being linked with a move to the club, its fair to say that there was little talk about the deals they have got done until they were done.

There has been a lot of talk about Manu Kone in recent days, and while the interest is clearly there, INEOS have been very careful in this window and it’s likely that the unnamed target is being left unnamed for a reason – they don’t want it to leak.

A third midfielder is expected to arrive in this window, and Carrick will know exactly what he wants, so it will be very interesting to see who they are able to bring in before the season begins.

World Cup Fans Want FIFA To Kick Argentina Out of the World Cup

Published

A petition urging FIFA to take serious action against Argentina has reached more than 10 million signatures following the reigning champions’ dramatic 2-1 win over England on Wednesday night.

The Three Lions were denied an opportunity to reach their first World Cup final in 60 years, despite having scored the opening goal through Anthony Gordon in the second-half. Lionel Messi proved his inevitability to produce two assists, first for Enzo Fernandez’s long-range equaliser, and then again for Lautaro Martinez’s headed winner as La Albiceleste turned on the style.

Argentina have long faced ‘corruption’ calls this summer, though, and it appears that accusations from their opponents have reached boiling point this week.

Viral Petition Urges FIFA to Take Serious Action Against Argentina

Argentina’s World Cup campaign has been surrounded by controversy after millions of fans signed an online petition demanding that the defending champions be removed from the tournament, alleging that referees and FIFA have shown favouritism toward Messi and his team. The petition, found with lots of pop-ups on Argentinaout.com, states:

“It is obvious that Fifa and the referees are biased toward Lionel Messi and Argentina. Why should the rest of the world compete when the winner has already been decided? Kick Argentina out of the World Cup and give everyone else a fair chance.”

The main source of anger stems from another come-from-behind victory as Lionel Scaloni’s side scored three goals in 14 minutes to beat Egypt 3-2 in the quarter-final.

Egypt furiously argued that a goal scored by them was disallowed after a review for an earlier foul, while Argentina’s late winning goal was allowed to stand despite claims of a foul during the build-up. Meanwhile, claims were made that Mohamed Salah should have been awarded a penalty
