Tinubu is citizen of Osun – Joe Igbokwe on why APC will take over
Ahead of the Saturday gubernatorial election, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Joe Igbokwe, has declared that Osun State belongs to the ruling party.
Igbokwe made the assertion in a short post he shared on his official Facebook page on Wednesday.

Osun Election: INEC adds SDP candidate, Ajala on ballot
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has disclosed that Dr Francis Olugbenga Ajala, the candidate representing the Social Democratic Party, SDP, for the Osun State Governorship Election, alongside his running mate, Faseke Babajimi Oladipo, has been officially included on the ballot for the upcoming election.
This decision was made in accordance with the ruling issued by the Federal High Court in Abuja on 22nd July 2026, in Suit No. FHC/ABJ/CS/344/2026, which involved the Social Democratic Party and Dr Francis Olugbenga Ajala on one side, and the Independent National Electoral Commission on the other.

Osun Guber: APC chieftain urges peaceful engagement ahead of poll
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has urged political actors and residents of Osun State to embrace peace, tolerance and responsible engagement ahead of the Saturday’s governorship election.
Oyintiloye made the appeal while addressing journalists during a programme organised for informal workers in Ibokun, Obokun Local Government Area of the state on Wednesday.

Osun Election: Suspend Fadahunsi immediately – Ex-APC deputy spokesperson to Senate
Timi Frank, an opposition leader and former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has demanded the immediate suspension of Senator Francis Fadahunsi over alleged inflammatory remarks concerning the forthcoming Osun State governorship election.
DAILY POST reports that, in a video circulating online, the senator, speaking in Yoruba, accused Accord Party members of attacking APC members and urging the gathering to attack Accord Party supporters in Ilesa.
