Osun Decides: 55-year-old voter laments BVAS failure
A 55-year-old voter, Sharafa Lasisi, has appealed to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to resolve a malfunction with the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS, that prevented him from being accredited to vote in the ongoing Osun State governorship election.
Lasisi, who votes at Alamisi Unit 6, said repeated attempts to complete the facial verification process were unsuccessful due to network-related challenges.

Osun Decides: ICPC official stops man from counting voters in Ede
An official of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, confronted a man who was allegedly counting voters at Akoda Ward 9, Unit 1, in Ede, Osun State, during Saturday’s governorship election.
The incident, captured in a video shared by TVC News, showed the ICPC official challenging the man over his attempt to keep a record of the number of people present at the polling unit.

Osun Decides: Oyetola, wife cast votes in Iragbiji
Minister of Marine and Blue Economy and former Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, and his wife, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola, have cast their votes in the ongoing Osun State governorship election at Ward 1, Unit 10, Iragbiji, Boripe Local Government Area.
Speaking with journalists after voting at about 10:30 am, Oyetola commended residents for the high voter turnout and the peaceful atmosphere across polling units.

Osun Decides: ADC candidate, Salaam escapes as violence erupts at polling unit
The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Najeem Salaam, was whisked away by security operatives after violence broke out at his polling unit in Ejigbo in the ongoing governorship election.
The incident occurred at Polling Unit 003, Iroyin Ayo Open Space, Ward 004, shortly after Salaam and his wife cast their votes.
