Osun Decides: I’ll win if election is free, fair – ADC candidate Salaam
The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Dr. Najeem Salaam, has expressed optimism about his chances in the ongoing Osun State governorship election, saying he is confident of victory if the electoral process remains transparent and credible.
Speaking after casting his vote at Polling Unit 003, Iroyin Ayo Open Space in Ward 004, Ejigbo, Salaam said the support he has received from residents across the state gives him confidence that voters are ready for a new direction.

Osun Decides: Voters stranded in Osogbo as names disappear from register
Several voters in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, have not been able to cast their ballots in the ongoing governorship election after discovering that their names were missing from the voters’ register despite having voted at the same polling units in previous elections.
At Polling Unit 017, Olaniyi Kafayah said her name could not be found on the register, leaving her unable to participate in the election.

Osun Decides: Voting disrupted as violence erupts in Ejigbo [VIDEO]
Voting has been disrupted in Ejigbo in the ongoing Osun State state governorship election after an outbreak of violence at a polling unit.
According to a video footage from the scene, voters, residents and officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, fled the area as tension escalated.

Osun Decides: ICPC official stops man from counting voters in Ede
An official of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC, confronted a man who was allegedly counting voters at Akoda Ward 9, Unit 1, in Ede, Osun State, during Saturday’s governorship election.
The incident, captured in a video shared by TVC News, showed the ICPC official challenging the man over his attempt to keep a record of the number of people present at the polling unit.
